jayt, post your question at foobar forum

I dlded and tried out foobar 0.9.1. Seems to take up 20mb. Browsing and searching your library also seems to be a pain and I cant seem to find the noise sharpening plugin people are talking about for 0.9.1. Starts up fast though. Apart from that, I cant see any incentive to switch from iTunes.

something must be wrong with your pc even my heavily customize fubar uses less than 5MB.

by default is doesn't rival the library view of itunes. that can be change by using browser plugin or autoplaylist.

if you're happy with itunes, just use it

Thanks. The next time I started it it (foobar) was ok..2mb. Thanks for the link too. Tried it, and left it. It worked pretty well on old recordings, but on my modern scores with spiffy digital recordings it made it sound too dry and separated...like some close micing or baffling was done. Hehe. I guess I'll be sticking with iTunes yet.

the default value is too high me.. usually I set to around 40-50%

my MSN Now Playing plugin .. something wrong. ticked Windows Live Messenger Mode but only shows The song name, didn't show artist...

and i am using WLM

but only shows the song title. need solution for showing artist and song title both together.

switch off Live Messenger mode and add this to MSN format: {1} - {0}

it's better to get a new copy..
