check "minimise to systray" rite??

but that doesn't solve my problem
where i want to minimized when I CLICK on the CLOSE BUTTON of the Foobar UI.
something like bitcomet's option - "minimize to systry when you press the close button"

is there a solution for that?

why use foobar eh , better than other media players ?

wonder why?

I use Foobar for these reasons:
- The masstagger
Removes all the need for a stand alone tagging program. Using the right variables and strings you can do pretty much when it comes to tagging, renaming and organizing your stuff. Takes some time to learn but once you got past the worst part you will love this.
- Playlists
Compared to Winamp, Foobar is focusing on the playlist rather then the look of the player. This leads to big possibilities in tweaking and configuarion for your own personal taste when skins would limit you to the pre-defined look.
- Components
Along with the highly editable playlists you got all the components that are under very active development in the foobar community. All from lyrics displays, album art plugins, columns etc makes foobar to one of the most costumizable players out there.

One of the bad sides is that Foobar has quite a high learning curve compared to Winamp that can be made great looking and working within a minute. Foobar takes a bit longer to get just that exactly look and functionality you want.

So its mainly about customisation & the features ...
Wat about the sound produced , same with other media players ?
- winamp
- Wmp
- etc ...

New foobar user here/got some problem...

before i apply azrael,all song got artist name but after i import azrael,some of them become blank and some only year of song.most likely,artist name is the lowest priority to show in that column.how to set it back to show all artist name??

and,why after applying azrael,on the right of the song title,got word T in red.whats that??


lastly,how to set when i open song(for example just dl new song and wanna hear it) outside foobar,it will make new tab?usually it will clear my current playlist and only that new song in the list...

The T is the track gain.

Go to preference->core and tick "always send to playlist". Should do the trick.

Personally, in terms of sound, i think foobar > wmp > winamp.

for listening music, i prefer foobar..
the sound quality depends how u set the equalizer....
and the equalizer in foobar has 18 row(wut should i call that) instead of 10 row only in wmp...
the noise sharpenning in the foobar is good....

i can get "all" plugin works perfect except that............. The colour sucks.. I cant change the skin... and also the background colours sucks

Somemore, i have enable language which all the while i have been working with different program like chinese big5/gb and even japanese.. However i cant seems to figure out why some songs can display perfect in my foo bar while some cannot....

how to change the title / artist name 's font colour ??
and also the background colour like sky live's is grey...
using navigator suite...

You can change the white color here. But i'm not really sure how to customize the other colors, but it should be somewhere in Globals or Columns. Lazy to change the preset Azrael colors. >_>

You willl need a plug-in call foo_uie_albumart_v0_045, i dont have the link, please use the search function and search in this function..

Install it, then to customise, just go and find some ready make template or design yourself if you are familiar with those code

Unzip and just use the Load Preset button to load it. Those preset are not mine btw.

1. How to remove the Mode: Follow Cursor from the track info ? I wanna replace it with some other text. Possible ?

2. As seen from the track info, the title of the album itself is very long. Is it possible to make under the artist tab to display the entire album name ? I don't mind if it has to go down to the next line to complete the whole name.

3. Is it possible to resize each tab such as the Artist tab ? To me, its taking too much of space.

4. As noticable below, i can display certain chinese characters but i can't for other chinese MP3 files. Why is this and how to make all chinese characters displayable ? Any plugins required ? How about Korean characters and Japanese characters ?

i edi unzip the file but dont have any Read Me/ Instruction inside
