if the flange fit ur ears correctly, then u'll have a nice bass sound. pick a suitable flange.

anyway, juz now i accidentally dipped my x3i into my coffee doh.gif luckily i realize and pull it out quick tongue.gif

Mid sleeve is the medium-sized sleeve right? Currently using that one and it fits very well smile.gif

Was hoping to try out the bi-flangle as well. Seems like a good one. Anyway, just hoping the bass will improve cause as off current, my X3 is having better bass than the X3i though. But of course, the X3 is fully burned in. smile.gif

Just wondering there bro,

Whats the advantages of the Bi-Flangle compared to the normal one? I tested it just now after 2 days of burned in, bass is getting better and its very nice now. Should be able to perform better after more time of burn in. Definitely more bassy than the X3. Wayyyy more bassy. smile.gif

Bi flange are for those who has deep ear canal and/or expose to extreme noisy environment. Better isolation sometimes.

if the coffee did goes in. the voice coil and the metal body inside the driver will rust..
i have seen that.. copper rust.
because i throw one of my mx300 earphone in washing machine to wash. after that still can use.
but after 2 month, canot use already as the things start to rust.

hi peeps. glad to join the mylar side as i just bought 1 from yuheng (great seller).

would like to ask does excessive sound affect the earphones? i just brought my xbi over to sepang last week. and i'm wearing it as my ear plugs without turning on my mp3 player. the engine roar is too loud.

after that, the sound coming from the earphone seems to be alot lack of bass.. it was so indifferent with last time i used it.

Are you confirm it lack a lot of bass? We might need to look into your X3i.
According the head-fiers, the burn in process will fluctuate how the earphone sound during the process. Wait till it stable first then tell us the conclusion.

I did the same. But no, the isolation was not good enough to suppress the roaring F1 engine sound. Had to change to the yellow foamies. Still, it was loud but bearable.
No, it should not damage your mylar. icycokes, better get your hearing checked.

u wil just turn up the volume while u r staying in noisy place, pls do not do so. the noise is too loud to be isolate, do pls just dont use it that time, or u will damage ur ear man

thx for the prompt reply. well i changed the ear buds to a bigger sized 1 and suprisingly the bass come back!.. guess my ear hole getting bigger? haha, maybe f1 is just too loud. the yellow thingy ear plug wasn't that comfortable.. thats why i use the mylar instead. still can isolate some sound lah.. i saw quite alot of ppl wearing nothing!

Got my new x3i finally! Yay! BUT...i don't like the biflanges that come with it lar yuheng.....the etys you sold me before were much nicer...not so lembik and more sound isolating! Hehe...other than that not much complaints, sound is good, but seems to be slightly more biased to the blue earbud.

The tips will make a lot of differences. Don't look down on the tips. Imbalance sounding or bass lost are mostly due to improper isolation...
