i wish to know more about BW... is it mostly a support job? like troubleshooting and fixing things?
I'm currently a conventional programmer, so i think i would be more into implementation and development areas of sap... is this the place to start off?
chezzball, i read somewhere that u are doing bw, is tat rite? so wat do u deal with?
*
erm...

pt 1: go google.com
pt 2: if for BW support, yes... which also includes the ETL processes (google up BW ETL)
pt 3: but ur role is a support role
pt 4: no
pt 5: yes u r right thar
pt 6: BW

QUOTE(SAPFans08 @ Jun 4 2009, 01:44 PM)
Hi,

I am an experience ERP implementor with more than 6 years (MS Dynamic Navision).  I had recently got certified in mySAP ERP ECC6.0 FI module pay by own hard earn money.  I had tried to post my resume to most of the SAP companies and received most of the reply is they only look for experience ppl.  I know myself can't consider fresh graduate (I have total 14 years++ working experience), but I do not have any SAP hands on experience.  I appreciate if any advice for me how to start my first step in SAP?  smile.gif
Best Regards,

Chloe

But anyone here who know an SAP SD / MM consultant..who willing to teach...i think i can pay him RM3k..what do you think ??? Anyone interested...may be in a group....of 5 , we all pay one amount for this guy to teach us..
End of the day, what matters is what you know...not the certification...thats what my sifu in AXON told me...
but certification will be an added advantage..
*
erm.. just my humble opinion lah..

think of urself as a SAP Project Manager. your current team consists of useless sapfags who dun even know how to config some COA to some CC and GL. you want to hire someone so that u can fire the fags here. u interview this girl, she seems to have some knowledge... but her resume says nothing about her doing project implementation & rollouts.. u became skeptical... then u tell the girl "yes i agree u have knowledge but u dont have real project experience, its a risk to hire you... what about this... i offer u RM2.5k first... if u perform well, the increment will be more" then u interview another girl, fresh grad and fresh out of SAP academy certified, asking for RM2.4k saja.... who u think u'd hire?

add: oh ya... just read and saw u got experience in B1... then assume fresh entry to R/3 la wink.gif but then again.. normally those ppl who seek advise here is new who wanna join SAP...
