so, can any psn card region be used..or must i get the psn singapore, as my ps3 is singapore version..but heard only can get that at singapore

you and another forumer have tried MAL credit card using konamiID but MGO shop cannot accept, right? i think its because MGO shop only accepts credit card with verifiable address in SGP/HK/TWN

MGO shop is run by KonamiAsia, different from PSN Store run by Sony SCEH. any credit you have in your PSN store wallet can not be used in MGO shop.

for example, i have more around HKD100 on my HK PSN account wallet, but i kenot transfer those to my konamiID account to buy from MGO shop.

I got a question:-

Because I have a US account for PSN... I use Entropay to purchase my songs from Singstar and it was good. Now here's my other dilemma:-

I recently purchased Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and then I realize mine was an Australia version. The problem is, only song track packs from Australia Playstation Store can be used for add-ons as I try to download the song packs from the US Playstation Store and it doesn't work.

Now, I can't down load song packs and I have even use Entropay for it and it doesn't work. It works only for the US account.

Any help on this?

Any SingStar PS3 disc can use DLC from any PSN region, but it all depends on the games. Entropay doesnt work to add funds to EU PSN wallet, and I think that's the same with AU PSN wallet.

Thanks... I know that in any Region, SingStar can work on any PSN Region. My main problem is actually Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock... because I want an alternative ways to download song packs for GHIII as my version is AU...

im planning to buy a ps3 cause im visiting shanghai from the US and they pretty much have every available model of the ps3 except for the 80gig, and since the ceramic white ps3 looks very nice, id like to go home with one of those.

my problem though, is whether there will be any compatibility issues or differences between the ceramic white and the us piano black version.

1. ive heard that if i get the ceramic white ps3, the servers where i get updates and such come from the japanese servers and if i want to update, id have to either endure a really long download/wait time or have to download the update files onto a flash drive and update my ps3 from an external media storage. is this true? will US updates not apply to the ceramic white ps3?

2. the same type of question for online multiplayer games - will the games i host and join only be on the japanese servers? or will the ps3 automatically connect to US servers when i play games like resistance or warhawk online?

According to here and here, all you need is a CROSSOVER cable to link up 2 PS3 in offline LAN games.

Can any1 with 2 PS3 vouch for this to work?

@toratora - you can do it in setting... i don't remember which one but ot work for me as my video thru hdmi and my audio thru optical...same also if you use analog for audio...all are in the setting.

I wanna ask, Is there any PS station Near Alor Setar, Kedah? or Penang? if so, pls give me the address ^^ thx.
