My PS3 got a lot of scratches.

Well can't see it will from far but if you go near with white light at it, you can see like a patch of scratches. It looks like your oily finger when you rub on it then it will spread a around.

I trying using those glasses cloth to rub it but the scratch ( I dunno what is it call excatly ) is still there.

So any idea on what I could use the remove those prints

My bottom of console is full with it

PS3 casing is made from plastic and it's prone to scratches. Once scratch you can make those scratch marks go. That's why once I bought mine I put on the skingard.

20GB is still enough for your gaming needs, unless you want to put movies, mp3 and pics then you might consider to upgrade the internal hdd. I have 60GB of hdd and still it enough for me. biggrin.gif

I don't quite understand some of it but basically it means that unless i upgrade my fat TV into a HD Tv then some PAL games won't work for me right?

Essentially i should stick with US or asian version games?

Yes. You should only buy NTSC games for the time being (US/Asia/JP).

You can use any fileserver/transcoder (WMP10, redkawa fileserver, tversity, etc). Then access them using Media Server function (enable the option on Systems XMB - the most below). But nowadays I only use HFS (or other http server - xampp apache iis etc) and use PS3 internet browser to "pull" the file from your computer/server.

thanks a lot ... manage to get Tversity up and running quite easily

now im having trouble with subtitles... using GOTSent 0.23 Beta 6

anyone manage to get it done successfully ???

Mine is a DELL 2007WFP, the ps3 connected using HDMI to DVI cable, while the PC connect via VGA. I think before that, your PC LCD must be HDCP enable before receiving signal from PS3?

I found out that there's three types of ps3 lens in production now, one of them is the KEM410ACA (the initials KEM indicates that it comes with the metal bracket as seen here http://www.laserlens.cn/list.asp?id=1170, KES versions are without - http://www.laserlens.cn/list.asp?id=1220) , which has two lenses.. is this the one used by the new 40GB PS3s (red colored packaging)? Want to order to replace my PS3 lens just in case it breaks down in the future! Will the old KEM400AAA (http://www.laserlens.cn/list.asp?id=992) fit in the new version console?

Here's a link to pictures of the KEM410ACA being broken down to bits by an enthusiast...

There are only 2 types of PS3 lenses not 3 at the moment. The KEM400A is being used with the 60GB, 80Gb and first batch of 40GB models, where the KEM410ACA is being used in the latest 40GB model.

If you have a 40GB model, just open up your PS3 BD drive and take a look at the lens so that you'll know what is the exact PS3 lens type.
