Woah.. What hsf are u using for ur 68GS? Seems like ur temp is lower then mine.. 68GT is a heat monster as well?

By then, im using MX-2 for the new thermal grease when move to FS-V7.. But the temp still high.. 50+.. Just now ran 3dMark03 for 20mins the temp hit around 70c' even with FS-V7..

P/s: Oh yea.. Ur proc seems like bottlenacking ur GC..

using the stock Palit HSF.a small block of copper that has a terrible base

i think the 6800GT is way hotter than mine.mine's using the new NV42 core iianm.from what i heard its cooler then the NV41.

my proc is bottlenecking my GS alot lah

Ic.. No wander.. My was using the NV40 core.. The older core for 6 series card. Maybe thats the reason why my card are much more hotter then urs. Idle temp is 5x'c.. Abit scary! Before that is 65+'c!

Yeah the NV40 (sorry,my bad ) is a much hotter core.6800 series is well known for their heat issues

on the bright side,you're GT is much better than my GS.16pl,6vs,256bit and 256mb GDDR3

edit: not so soon going to the dark side lah..haha.but i will be selling off my s478 system off tho.dad doesnt allow me to keep 2 rigs

Oh yea.. In term of technology, 68GT is better then the GS. It fall between 68Ultra nad 68GS! A good choice.. Just like 8800Ulta & 8800GTS.. 8800GT are the best deal among those 2 card.

i think the server roll back. today is 27 and i still have my "yesterday" post dated 25 november 2007.

anyway. maybe its better to set it back to 3GHz. now running at 3.08GHz. maybe its the tiny TT fan draw the power. i never get that low voltage until i recently plug in a 6cm TT fan to blow my HDD. hmm.....

read properly, its dead mobo. btw, UT3 on my rig rocks, can play smoothly no hiccups @ 1024x768 med-hi settings but must install 169.09 forceware, other drivers crashes during mid-game.

Not bad edmin.. Ur 76GS handle the game well. Thats why not hiccups during game mode. By then, u guys all using the official driver for gaming? Anyone try with 3rd party such like NGO driver?

maybe lo. dont know why it draw that much juice. quite loud actually the fan. i think i better change it with another fan. hehe....got some spare intel stock fan which is quite silent. maybe it will be better.

Its time to invest a new PSU already actually. PSU calling! Get a OP650 like pengster, i think that will be enough. Even u plug into 5 more fan it shouldnt be any problem for u.

no $$ la. haiz..... at least have to ready 200+ if really want a good psu. pengster's 1 cost more than rm500!! makan angin everyday also hard to squeeze that $ out. so, just back to stock and no need think of it anymore.
