QUOTE(poweredbydiscuz @ Dec 18 2025, 07:37 PM)
I have a dog but we don't eat together. I also never go to any pet friendly restaurants. But I don't have problem with people bringing their pets to pet friendly restaurants/malls/parks.

Just like I don't drink alcohol, but I don't have problem with people drinking alcohol in a pub.

QUOTE(loserguy @ Dec 18 2025, 07:43 PM)
But there must be a reason you do not eat together. Can you at least be honest with yourself enough to admit it?

Good question loserguy. Hehe

Kalau dah mall ada taik kencing haiwan nda la aku nak pergi. Bukan boikot tapi tempat pengotor. Bukan kata anjing saja, kalau bau taik kucing jiran sebelah pun aku pening.

Do you really think the mall was forced to not allow pets anymore?

Let me tell you one thing: money talks.

If the majority does not want to go to a mall that allows pets inside, you think the mall will survive?

If a pet friendly mall can bring money, we would have it all over Malaysia already.

But reality is, this decision is just business.

Soooooo......if no directive, why still wanna ban?

As i said, money talks. You wanna welcome a few or welcome all patrons?

Of course we consumers have choice to go to any mall. But does the mall operator wants less consumers or more consumers?

Hence money talks.

You can sell, but who is buying?

Same lor for the mall operator. If "got" directive, how come other pet friendly malls from the same operator within the same state is ok to be pet friendly?

Money talks my friend.

All good, it's a healthy conversation.

I mean, at one stage there was a supposed directive, but now putar say no directive.

So the mall operator, would be within their right, to u-turn the decision, no?

So why haven't the mall operator change back its stance to be pet friendly again?

One can assume that being a pet friendly mall is not a good business model.

Hence my earlier statement: money talks.

Tenants and customers complaints hence powerful to change the policy unless pet owners starting protesting and boycott the mall otherwise business as usual as long as money flows in

Wven in the states, majority indoor malls don't allow pets. Only service animals (technically not pet).
Those that allow only if they are well trained and well behaved. Nak mengharapkan Malaysians tahu train pets until well behaved? Yeah right.

Probably Take consideration that even others non-pet friendly mall also got sohai owner come bring the dogs in...

Now in this pet-friendly one, its just matter of time before that sohai let loose everything. Dog chase dog chase cat, pee leaking.

Yeah right... Follow SOP, put in trolley yadaa yadaa...
