apparently something like switching to reverse gear after D without stopping car fully can whacko the gearbox

yup that's what you need to go through; either other drivers will scold horn you or will cut queue.

and keyword is the frequency of having to go through heavy traffic jems.
either you try finding other routes that don't need to go through heavy traffic jem or face the scolding LEL.
But better the scolding rather than damaging your clutch pack in the long run.

i have another Honda car; the Honda CRV RS hybrid eHEV i-MMD after sold my 2017 Honda BRV to the same Honda SC i bought it.

this one has e-CVT gearbox which doesn't have a physical CVT gearbox so no need to worry about CVT steel belt putus or something.
all honda RS hybrid eHEV models including city, city hatchback, HRV & Civic has the e-CVT transmission.

i use it for long distance balik kampung/holiday though. Once, i try went up Cameron highland with long, crawling traffic jem. No problem on the gearbox also.

anyway, can't wait to sell this car and get Honda eN1 EV.
no need to worry about DCT or any physical gearbox limitations. LEL

the receipt write CBU gear box, so should be 6AT. also X70 never have CVT, later CKD unit use DCT.

Boleh repair lah.

Now sudah ada akademi yg teach how to repair gearbox, AT, CVT, DCT.

DCT is just a manual gearbox with 2 clutch + 1 auto clutch pump.

i remember someone said got one perodua aruz 700k km mileage, just overhaul the gearbox and engine 1 or 2 times and still going strong.

saw one youtube review honda en1 and it's pretty good.
