Japan’s Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi accused China’s J-15 fighter jets of aiming fire control radar at Japanese aircraft during two separate incidents over international waters near Okinawa.

A fire-control radar lock is one of the most threatening acts a military aircraft can take, Tokyo lodged a strong protest, calling the radar lock a dangerous act that signals a possible attack and forces evasive action.

China denied the claim, saying Japan’s aircraft disrupted its navy during training.

The encounters are the most serious in years and come amid rising tensions over Taiwan. No damage or injuries were reported.

Japan based their modern (then during WW2) doctrine on the Bushido quote that was written during a time of Peace

China  she mentions (in a separate video) based it on the Art of War, pratcially can the hardware and the training pay off no one knows but high level wise they are based on something thats sound and conceived during times of war

Although China keeps on building and building its army, I do not think war is something it is good at.

Practical experience is what counts. By a lot.

In a real war, their military command structure will be under very high pressure. Because they are authoritarian, their lower command too sked to offend their higher command. No flexibility, no trust.

This is their main weakness. Russia oredi demonstrated it in Ukraine.
