To be fair, if it was a premium car brand like porsche then the plan would.probably have work especially if u are the first car manufacturer to offer ev.

Problem is perodua is aimed at b40/m40 & this plan is practically doa. This type.of.plan requires t20 customers who will treat monthly rm300 as small change & have it on auto debit & want an exclusive car where u have to buy from perodua direct & cannot get on second hand market.

Average joe when buy a car want it simple, I buy & i own it & u don't tell me what I can or cannot do especially when u are a low entry car manufacturer. Imagine buy kancil cannot use for delivery or kembara can only be used in urban areas no jungle usage allowed.

Si kancil forgot their place & think they are harimau king of the jungle can dictate terms.

Buy body at 80k, use for 2 years and still can sell 70k? Lol!

Haha, and the scheme seem like really caters to the B40 and M40 groups — and here’s why I say so.

You can always see cases with ICE cars where the owner lapses on loan payments but still continues driving; some even take out a parang and fight with the company that comes to tarik the car.

With this scheme, if you don’t pay, the software kill switch activates immediately, so you simply can’t drive — basically it’s designed exactly for that kind of scenario.

But again, with just RM300 per month, many in the B40 and M40 groups might easily sign up and end up trapped in debt because they may not have strong financial awareness.
