if you buy this car battery together, rm110k, resell lower 60k because no Perodua support, total loss RM50k

You need to rent the battery. Then...pay for the charge. Seems like a very expensive car to own.

You think P2 would buy back your EMO for rm70k? Remember new car price is rm80k only. You'll be lucky if P2 offers you rm55k second year value. I highly doubt it.

Just wonder how much would a battery cost, if you put away RM275 monthly, you will have RM3300 savings per year. compound that for 5 years you probably have close to RM17k savings in the event the battery died.

I normally do not want to make predictions because the world is very complex and people think differently. But in this case, the battery rental will be a complete failure. Like so many postings have mentioned here, it is just a sham to try to hide the real price of the car. Perodua will have to revert to selling the complete car including battery. Would be interesting to see the price then.

Just to correct you, it's not 275, u need include the 8% SST charged to this as per latest info from perodua, so the actual amount is 297 per month
