Resale is important. Since people change cars every few years. Until the day you decide not to change car and to use it forever, then just buy any car you want

Like property always buy at good location. Easier to sell, ie high RV. It’s possible to earn handsomely also.

resale value - the only 1 thing which is enabling UMW, Honda Malaysia & p2 to still sleep soundly at night.

Actually resale value is proportionate to second hand demand. If there is no demand for second hand, there is no value. People should question why no second hand demand. Usually ties to how expensive to maintain the car.

Since 1992 to 1998. Buy Iswara 1992, 5 years later can sell same price.

And since 2010 but only for Inspariah.

Insapla no more bro..
I ask carsome only makan 11k for 2012 Insapla.

Reason given cause lancer 2nd hand values also at that price range and ppl rather get mitsu logo with different price of 1-2k.

Moreover, over 10 years can x bole loan dah

Those ppl put 20-30k is either they delulu or they mod until beyond father mother recognition d..

The money you get from resale value is not much different. Roughly car prices drop around 50% after 5 years. You buy expensive car at 200k after 5 years you burnt 100k. If you buy 50k car and after 5 years you burnt only 25k.

Yes, there are cars that are more popular and that is what kept the price higher than other after 5 years but I would not say it is it will make you rich. Probably if you keep it until you die the car become classic and your grandchildren probably can sell it more than purchase price.  smile.gif

People just want to get back some few thousand more from the gov high tax on the car.

Some famous brand doesn't drop that much even after 5yrs. Even I m suprise that my 18yrs old car still can fetch higher price. And very much people demand.

this, it's not about brand, it's about demand for that brand / car model.
