all bank loans favourable are 4-5 years, won't kill you, but your downpayment must be high. for vehicle best to just treat it as point A to point B, level up and always do business. Every year try to save additional rm20k in epf until you retire if you makan gaji

That's the reason never take 90% and 7 or 9 years loan. 5 years 50% cukup, else means you cannot afford the car.

7 years 90% still ok depending on what brand and model. managed to sell my car last year and settle the loan with surplus

9 years is really pushing it unless you plan to own the car for 10 years

Can't understand why ppl take 9 years loan and show-off the car.. So silly

My car market price RM 30k+ and outstanding loan left less than RM 10k.. If I trade in, can use it as DP for new car.. Just that no new cars that caught my eye now

Its not about the loan tenure or how much dp paid la

It all about how much can you pay per month without any burden. And many can only afford to pay for axia TBH but die die mau kereta lain

perodua EV i give grain of salt for a while, because their tech mostly based on jap, but jap not really good on pure EV (hybrid probably okay)

for me, really hand itchy got plan to change, but mcm not worth for now. because all these thing improve real fast.
HEV/PHEV: H6 (thailand FL version, with straight DRL look better), Sealion 6 DMI (not yet coming malaysia)
BEV: Sealion 7, Model 3 LR
ICE: C9 (not yet test drive)

especially x50 replace part before it broke down not really cost a lot.
i recently changed timing belt, fan belt, alternator pulley. parts + labour total 650 ish. worth.

also i mention big battery... what i mean like HEV/PHEV(whatever you call it) with like 30kw or more, maybe 50kw battery on it. so i can get pure electric 150~200km, and still can use it with petrol
