 Proton 4s body and paint repair, Worse nightmare

I’d really appreciate some advice on what to do next. I sent my car to a Proton 4S centre for an insurance claim after a minor accident where only my bumper was scratched.

However, when I got my car back, the condition was much worse:
• Paint stains all over my seats
• Scratches on my tail light and engine hood cover
• Engine cover full of dirt
• Steering damaged and rattling, like it was smashed
• Dismantled parts were dumped inside the car, scratching the surfaces

Even the new bumper they replaced has cracks, scratches, peeling paint, and dust stuck under the paintwork.

My car is less than a year old proton x70 2025 mc2 facelift version.

Just for a quick update:2/october 5.10pm:: I didn’t receive any call or message from their branch despite I personally call to HQ and I also texted their manager.

None replies from any of the party.

Proton is so disappointing

all 4s is like that, low workmanship is a usual in Malaysia, you need to complaint.

Have u contacted the centre for rectification?
If they not willing and pushing everything to u, lodge a complain at their HQ.
If HQ also ignore u, viral it in your social media.

very surprised, they pass the parts back to you

as usual la lodge complain to HQ.

sometimes I wonder why official SC do that sweat.gif even Toyoyo also do the same, but at least they keep it in a box at back of my trunk

now having dilemma where to throw one of my driveshafts and also starter motor, can't simply throw it outside

Lodge a complaint to the center you sent the car to. If no response then Proton HQ. Given the pictures you have shared I am sure they will take it seriously.

Mileage seemed to be okay even though 6 litre of fuel have been burned through two days period.

I’m located in the east Malaysia.
They said it’s normal for them to do that so part wont lost in somewhere else

Well you’re right! My x70 prior to this have been complaining several times to HQ, no action is taken at all. My previous perodua complain is much more efficient.

Yes I have done that. Their manager told me will give me feedback by today afternoon.

But yesterday their b and p team said will polish up for me..

I worry viral would backfire myself and getting LOD

I doubt that.

My previous complained was not even resolved. HQ did nothing to help but said it’s within spec claimed by their foreman.

Body and paint is given to third party subcontractors and QC by proton team.

The parts are not given back to me, it’s temporary storage for them. The picture that filled up with stuff is I visited my car during the repair.

Ask their team and they said it’s easier to keep track whose part is that. I have one photo that x50 is kinda pity.. see his car

takes up space...have you seen their store room for parts?

then to dispose them to contractors cost money

so short cut maybe pass to customers.

so calculative this SC

some more not bother to check 3rd party contractor dump things in your car
