Drying is good to have. But really most time I hang out or to dry. So get a combo je. The dryer will be a sore eye and waste space
I don't wan to hang anymore .. that's the reason why I'm getting a dryer. Too time consuming to dry indoor. Not home most of the time to drag my clothes out during the day.
You're either gonna shift one or 2 machines, to me personally that's not a big diff if you're gonna get a moving lorry for that anyway. Front loader means you have to clean the gasket frequently as well, pray that nothing breaks down post warranty 😑
Ultimately it's up to you, you can have the combo for convenience, or separate for future proofing. In case dryer Kong can use the sun 🌞
Washer dryer separate is cheaper than combo, lul.
Haha I'm looking at the same brand so that I can stack them up. Space is rather limited for me. Getting 2 in 1 is just for temporary so that I can sell it when I move, and get a better one in the future. But the dilemma now is, should I just bite the bullet now then I don't have to buy them again in the future. Haha.

again entirely up to you, we also bit the bullet when we purchased this because we had an urgent need (moving into another place, baby came 2 months early, so on) and it wasn't feasible to purchase one standalone washer and combo because it was out of our budget. Now a bit of a pain to move them back, but we'll arrange for movers once the time comes.
regardless pick whichever you're most comfortable with.

You realise drying will damage your clothes overtime. Some of my tshirt shrunk.

Yeah .. that's why I shortlisted these two after survey.

Can always buy new clothes. Hahaha .. I'm not too bothered about it .. I just need a dryer. I have to wash 3 to 4 times per week now, which is a hassle to hang them everyday.
What's your experience with them? The model I'm looking at for LG has been in the market for couple of years according to the sales person. Whereas, the Samsung ones that I'm looking at are about a year old.
I'm more concerned about reliability. I don't mind it's older but reliable. One thing about Samsung, they love to release new models every year but only minor updates just to get people to buy.
To me, no difference as belt is cheap to DIY replace. I chose an LG washer, and it only comes with DD.
Didn't have good experience with Samsung appliances, so I avoid Samsung.
I see, what's your comment on it? I'm more intrigued by Samsung's own cleaning where it cleans the whole drum including the rubber area, which according to the sales person LG doesn't have that.

For cleaning, LG has an app that monitors your washing cycles. After 30 cycles, it reminds you to do tub cleaning. In tub cleaning, you can add those tablets (sold at Mr DIY) snd the machine will wash the tub at iirc 90degC. It kills off moulds. Water will splash/wash the gasket too.
After every laundry washing, wipe the door gasket and leave the door open.

LG more reliable for washing machine
Samsung more reliable for fridge
I also using LG washer dryer. 2 years so far no issue, only just replaced absorber last month but I think this is mostly my fault due to balancing.
The LG ThinQ app sometimes very useful, especially for remote start. Can just load the cloths, turn on power, then I can go out and maybe 1 hour before I reach home remote start the washer so by the time I reached home it's done and ready for drying
Front load? I have been reading that LG is more reliable. Especially Samsung ones all touch screen. But not sure about the drive. Belt (samsung) vs direct drive (LG)
