Now he wants to abolish Matric and make everyone take STPM.

Fast forward, even in STPM Bumiputera will dominate because of population numbers while the nons birth rate lower—just look at SPM results as the closest example where even with single exam the bumi dominate in high score

If Matriculation is guaranteed to a first degree program and has quota for it, what made you think the entry to first degree is based on Meritocracy?

why so hard abolish both, come up with something more focussed to the foundation program or diploma level. you go to the specific degree you want after, get it recognize by local public and private college, uni alike

Do you know those nons who are 9A+ SPM not even selected to matric?

And those with cukup makan As got selected to Matric?

Then the nons got pushed into STPM. And the cukup makan As one got selected to matrics. And the matrics end up with higher overall score than STPM students due to the advantages they gained in matrics.

And call that stronger? Fuuh. No wonder Malaysia tak maju. Kalau minority migrate habislah turn into indonesia

Stupid JPT create a matric path for non nons. And make nons go STPM. Haha and use their merits together for ranking students to go into IPTA and say it's based on merit.

Baguslah. The STPM won't get the course they want and NUS, Tsinghua accept them. This shows that higher ranking uni acknowledge their talents compared to local sampah uni. You matric 4.0 top student pergi Peking and Tsinghua la. See they accept or not?

I dont know if i exercise abit of otak capabilities pun i cant help to nak question ada mungkin 1 year wujud 1128 applicants for accounting course with perfect CGPA 4.0 + 10 marks curriculum that is better than 99.9 (hence ranked 1129).

More likely the case the the 1128 people are sums of all perfect score top scorer but good portion of it apply for Med, Lawyer, Pharmacies and other.

Then that 1129 is not the true picture but only to confuse simple minded people like TS. So if its real meritocracy, why can't show the real ranking in just accounting applicants only. Aku rasa lebih kepada manatukkasi la meritocracy konon.

Last I understand matriculation is gate-kept at 90% quota bumiputra only, asasi 100% respectively. Both are 2 major pathway to public uni admission.

Yes, true M are the smartest now. So in that case, why not abolish quota for Matric? Takut apa? Make Matric intake based on merit.

Also open up UiTM to all since M are now fully capable to excel on their own. Why still need fixed deposit of 35% public university seat in UiTM?
