Now BBA is slashing price like crazy in China to win back market share. I don’t think it’s the manufacturer that screw the Malaysian market, but rather the local distributor themselves. If market like Indonesia/Philipines which generally have lower buying power could get best specs car, why Malaysia can’t? Simply because they want the fullest profit margin they could get. In the end, their stupidity lose the market. Toyota only recovering after UMW start following what Honda brought in and stop taking buyers for granted. They have to adjust the price. CX5 120k, Mazda 3 at 100k will sell like hot cake.

Thanks to competition from Chinese automakers , other brands will get cheaper otherwise kena tutup lah.
Hopefully when ckd EV r available, we will be able to get 50k to 80k EV to give ICEV a run for their money.

Legacy carmakers r no longer spending big on advancing ICEV tech. Waste of money.
Different story for EV where we will see great improvement in battery n motor tech to tackle all the anxieties. Hence prices will get cheaper.
It is also easier to have EV as robotaxi, so each household will need to own less cars thus relieving our finances.

On this, hat off to CPP car. They bring the features that customer want. Be it Japanese, the features are excluded for us, this for 360 camera on any Honda Malaysia cars, same goes for Blind spot monitoring, here don't have, US already put this as opposed Outdated Lane watch.
Now random Honda SA can give 5 figures rebates for all model
