I just bought CX30 full spec last year, not because I dont like China cars or EV but give maybe another 5 more years see how. Next car probably will be an EV
Also Bermaz is very slow to react to market. CX60 tease so long to launch but end up 2.5 engine when all prospect buyers are looking forward to 3.3, Mazda 3 2.0 sell so expensive even if CBU now desperate bring in 1.5 with much lower price to gain some sales. CX5 facelift CKD they take out the larger screen which other markets get, same for CX30 still on 2nd refresh when other markets already on 3rd or 4th refresh. Same story for Kia, after taking over from Naza for like 5 years so far only 3 models? Wtf

QUOTE(Mixxomon @ Sep 12 2025, 09:24 AM) Read Bermaz straight realize who's the problem. BAuto said group revenue declined by RM354.9mil (-41.9%) largely due to lower sales volume in the domestic operations for certain Mazda and Kia vehicles, which are nearing their end of product life cycles and aggravated by the highly competitive market conditions such as the influx of Chinese-made vehicles with their low pricing strategy. eh eh , but them cbk also bring in XPENG what? why they blame chyna cars? buy yes, see who behind bermaz also , know already what's the main problem This post has been edited by JimbeamofNRT: Sep 12 2025, 01:53 PM

QUOTE(brkli @ Sep 12 2025, 02:02 PM) medicore car market it with premium price, complain that other medicore car market at cheaper price taking their sales.. Problem is Bermaz still think they are at early 2010s or 2020s when their only competition is T and H. Mazda does drive and feels better than T and H (and its still better than many C brands), that time people dont mind spending a bit more to get it Now with so many choices which give more for less, that strategy obviously not gonna work anymore. T and H could care less since they have the brand loyalty, but not Mazda since its always seen as just an alternative, and it's not the only alternative anymore in the current market This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Sep 12 2025, 02:10 PM

They will say I eat salt more than you eat rice. I sell Mazda that time you still wearing diapers.

As a former Kia owner under Naza i thought Bermaz would be better when they took over. Manatau just left pocket masuk right pocket.... T and H not just brand loyalty, but they are targeting different customers. those who looking for fuel saving, practical daily car (those are what they sell most). Mazda on the other hand like what u say, ppl maybe buy it for say "drive better", yes, still fuel saving, but they lose out on spaciousness of the interior and the confortness on uneven road due to suspension is aim "to drive better". then there are also tech stuff they missing out. as ppl age, their priority change, they may opt for more spacious and comfort related cars. an for new gen, there is now option like EV and etc around those price range, can the car market is more dynamic with diff manufacturer having car aim for different markets.

Mazda is a small brand and its unrealistic for them to match the volume of T and H. They do have the answer for these issues (newer models like CX60, EZ6, EZ60 etc), but as always Bermaz is the problem. Slow to react and take action. By the time they launch the model people already flock to other brands This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Sep 12 2025, 02:43 PM
