I don’t think I will be upgrading my U2 to U3. Did I miss anything? It seems not too appealing to me.

slightly bigger but not obvious display is the key upgrade i would say.

Thinking of upgrading from Series 7, but scared it feels too big on my wrist

Just getting bigger and bigger like the iphone. Next thing you know, you will be wearing a clock on your wrist.

I upgraded from Series 6 to Ultra 2, it felt big and heavy at the beginning. After some time, I have gotten used to it already. I'm a female, so my wrist is smaller but it still works for me.

Hi anyone checked how much apple store is taking trade in for Apple Watch Ultra 2, 2024 in good condition. Just wanted to know the depreciation % in 1 year.

I am using Watch 10 now and thinking to change to Watch Ultra 3, so wanted to know how much depreciation in 1 year

For this strap is 4199. I think not so soon. Maybe another week.

My U2 is quoted RM 1525. However, mine is the 2023 variant. You can always use the Apple Store app and simply pick something and choose trade-in, it will list your existing watch there and it will show the value.

Seemed like Watch 10 has better depreciation rate. My 46mm S10 is quoted 1050 so about 53% value after 1 year. While U2 is 40%.
So i will keep upgrading S11 instead.....

Oh, I didn't know that the U2 2023 and 2024 variants have the same trade-in price, although they are the same. The difference is that the 2024 model comes with the black option. I bought my U2 at 3799 in 2023, so, it is 40% over two years.

Yeah some how Apple treated 2023 and 2024 the same i think. The pricing is on Apple website and "Up to" price. Unless someone with 2024 can verify. If 2 years ain't that bad at 40%.

Ok yes, waited a few minutes and finally can order. Happy for my first Apple Watch Ultra! My wife is upgrading to the Series 11. We are both upgrading from Series 6 GPS.

Good upgrade from S6. I upgraded from S6 to U2 two years ago and no regret.

I think will I try get it from switch via aia vitality, quite good cashback from there , only issue now is waiting for it to be available

If I were to get one, I will get it from TRX and trade-in my current U2 on the spot. Long story short, I have an existing gift card and if I were to purchase online and select trade-in, it will refund back to my gift card again. It is like inception gift card version.

So, I plan to use this gift card and trade-in gift card at the same time.

Still considering to get one or not.

I’m debating to upgrade my s7 as well. But the new watches don’t really tempt me since I’m looking forward to the blood glucose sensor. Maybe I should just send for battery replacement and Apple might even just give me a refurbished s7 watch lol

Yes, if you need to trade in your Apple device, it is the only option. However, if you are willing to keep the gift card for future purchases, you can still trade in your Apple device to receive the gift card.

Yeah, it is not really a bad thing actually. I traded-in my iPad before in TRX and the experience was great. No need to bring anything just the iPad will do.
In this case, for Apple Watch, no need strap etc, just the watch will do.

I think I still have leftovers from Spigen U2. I assume it still can be used as mine doesn’t come with bezel.

There’s an Apple gift card and Apple Store gift card.

A Malaysian Apple Store Gift Card can be used to purchase Apple hardware and accessories at a Malaysian Apple Retail Store, the Apple Online Store (apple.com/my), or by phone. An Apple Account balance, from a redeemed Apple Gift Card, can be used to buy apps, games, in-app purchases, and subscriptions like Apple Music and iCloud+ from the App Store.

For this case, it’s an Apple Store gift card. So, only hardware purchases it seems. Can call their friendly CS to confirm again. For my case, I only wanted to use it for a hardware purchase so not an issue.

Wait, I think his case is slightly different than mine. If you trade-in and use a gift card, the trade-in value will go back to gift card first and the balance goes back to your payment method.

Example: The watch is RM 3k and you have a gift card is RM 1k and trade-in is 1.5k, paid with credit card (RM 3k-1k=2k). So for the trade-in, Apple will refund RM 1k back to your gift card and RM 500 to your credit card. Technically, you still need to pay RM 1.5k to the bank instead of RM 500 and still having the gift card of RM 1k.

Yes, only if you use a gift card as well when you opt for trade-in and purchase online. If you don't use a gift card, everything will go back to your payment method.

Long story short, if planning to use a gift card and trade-in, then do the trade-in first at TRX and get a gift card. Then, purchase your new stuff and offset with the two gift cards as you can use eight gift cards at one go.

Can. You have two options:
1) When you purchase online, straight opt for trade-in. They will deliver the U3 to you and later you schedule for a pick up of your old AW or you drop it at the nearest Poslaju center. After their inspection, you get the trade-in amount straight refunded back to your original payment method. Buy the strap/other stuff at anytime you like.

2) Do as per your what you said above.

If you ask me, option 1 is more straightforward as you will get back cash either back to your credit card or your debit card or whatever payment method you use. No need headache with store gift card.

Expensive & BLUEO kinda overrated for me personally, but quality wise confirmed better than Ringke. I bought Ringke with case + sp. This year black coating looks and feels different compared with U2, but I get myself NT.

Maybe I will get Flolab in the future. 🤔
