Not sure how long would Machines / Switch take. Probably better get through them as can get good deals via CC rebate, Shop Points, PWP, etc

Just placed order with Apple Store early this morning. 🌅
Chose the Black Ultra since it blends better with the black display-bezel compared to the Natural. ☺️ Trading in my 2-year old Apple Watch Series 9 with battery health down to 80+% already. 🫠 ![]() This post has been edited by shockk: Oct 13 2025, 03:32 PM |

DHL just called for delivery of my Watch Ultra 3 Black from Apple Store today. 😌
Will unbox, wear and try and see which to keep as just collected the Natural Titanium from Apple Store TRX yesterday. One thing the Natural Titanium watch is good is that it goes well with the Natural Titanium Milanese Loop, a lot better than the Black Watch with the Black Titanium Milanese Loop. Personal preference. 🤭 |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Oct 16 2025, 07:45 AM) Congrats. 🥳And 6 years with S5. Wow. What was your battery health by the time you stopped using it? QUOTE(JasonthegreatTWO @ Oct 16 2025, 08:25 AM) Sigh. I click returned one unit of Ultra 3 to Apple Store unopened unit with trade in, and my trade in got cancelled as well although on the way to inspection. Yeah. It seems that all the processes including trade-in are intertwined with the product purchase process etc. Now have to wait for the trade in unit to be returned to me and i need to goto TRX for non-purchase trade in. Any idea if we can trade in to apply by postal without purchase or need to goto TRX only? Perhaps you can call Apple Customer Service to reactivate / resume the trade-in process, if they have not started shipping the item back to you yet. When only one shall prevail in the end: Black Titanium VS Natural Titanium Black: Stealthy, Low Profile, Awesome-Looking but need to care for it more as any dings will be very obvious Natural: Timeless, Metal-Look, A bit loud (Instantly can tell from afar that it’s an Ultra), but should hold up better visually against dings Will try to wear them alternately for the next one week to decide which one I will be keeping. ☺️ ![]() NagaK liked this post

Busy with so many projects at work, until no time to update til now.
![]() Previously mentioned that I bought both the Natural Ti and Black Ti Ultra 3, in the end I kept the Black Ti. ☺️☺️ ![]() What swayed me over was the ‘low profile’ vibes and the ‘Black Metal Look’ feels very futuristic to me. Haha. 🤫 And for those concerned about scratches on the Black Ti, I have inadvertently and unintentionally grazed the watch a few times on aluminium door handles and railings, and the DLC Coating on the Watch Ultra remained immaculate, pristine and unscathed. It even low-key ‘destroyed’ the surface of the aluminium surfaces which it came in contact with. 🫢 I would say the coating on the Ultra 3 Black has indeed improved from the Ultra 2 Black (and yes, I’ve owned and used the Ultra 2 Black previously for about 6 months prior). Also, due to the new 3D printing manufacturing of the Ultra 3 Titanium (Black and Natural), there is less chamfered edges near the bezel, so there is less chance of a scuff (compared to Ultra 1 and 2). If you see JerryRigEverything videos, most of the vulnerable parts of any coated/anodized metal body (like the iPhone 17 Pro series, are on the chamfered edges because the chamfered parts cannot be coated/anodized easily due to the law of physics).
