My foldable OnePlus failed on me yesterday, and I was tempted to get Pixel Fold. But my wallet kenot tahan the ridiculous folding screen fixing cost from my OnePlus experience so I just settled with Pro XL instead lol

Ya screen KO, dropped on the hinge side when getting out from car (warranty expired ady 10 months ago). It was OK on the first week, then went haywire. Inner screen not working kejap boleh kejap tak boleh, phone hangs a lot out of a sudden and so forth. I should have kept my previous phone cover that covers the hinge side, then things happened. I guess now I have more of a reason to get a new phone . Else, phone was great.

It was great before the great fall. lol.

So much lower than MSRP, seller keep dodging question when I asked why so cheap and said its Japan set.

1. Don't think anyone would fake Google's product.

2. If seller sent you the wrong model, return.

3. You (may) lose warranty on the product. Mine just passed 1 year and it has been working fine so far. Better than Sony's, f/w update crashed the battery. And was advised by service centre, "don't update f/w." lol

thinking of getting the Pixel 10 Fold, but the reviews are not very encouraging. the price tag is also a little high, might wait for it to drop 🤔

currently rocking the S25U, its a decent phone but feels meh after 6 months of owning it. still drawn to the appeal of a stock Android phone.

My P10PXL is in the mailbox and I won't be home until late Saturday.

The only win for 10 pro fold is pure android experience. Otherwise, u get a better user experience with fold 7 and honor magic v5. Feels in hand also way superior than 10 pro fold. Went to test it in shop, doesn’t feel like jumping from magic v5 at all. At least fold 7 still give me that itchy feeling to jump over.

haha i did consider the Honor Magic V5, but there's something about the UI that i cannot accept, its just too hideous compared to OneUI. Hardware hands down, V5 wins, but software...

Not as exciting as when I was waiting for my P8Pro.

I would say it is Pixel experience, not more stock/pure Android experience like those with AOSP rom e.g. Lineage OS

lol , Pixel 10 is the most quiet thread in Lowyat forum compared to Pixel 9 , 8 and before. seems Pixel 10 nothing much or too stable , I recall the previous discussion is about Vo Wifi issue, etc issue with previous model.

Because the competition offer price with better spec.

No matter how good is your pixel experience, people just cant resist the snapdragon 8Elite and the mediatek 9400/9500.

well not always the fastest processor entice people to move away from Pixel, the whole AI experience in Pixel so far beats the competition even beating Apple , for me faster or slower processor doesn't makes much difference since I dont game on mobile, the overall AI experience matters to my productivity
