My record is wait 4 hours at hway for tow truck. Journey from Seremban to JB. Tire puncture at Muar. Kena 8pm, tow truck came 12am. Reached JB 5am lol.

Not really. I once experience car suddenly dead. I restarted and it could move again and drove to nearby workshop. Lucky it was near the workshop. Tested and found out alternator was dead.

When the engine is off, chemical reaction in battery will slowly recharge the battery. I restarted the car and drove home about 1km away. I was lucky it happened not yet far away from home.The next day went to spare part shop to order the alternator. Got it replaced two days later.

Typical ppl yang tak bersyukur.
So lucky 20mins to get ur tow truck, damn fast already. Normal waiting should be around 1hour-3hours.

My expectations for a called tow truck to arrive is at least 2 hours

Waited 1.5hrs for plus highway tow truck
Tow out to the next exit, left the car there then use another colleagues' car to continue to the journey

Later back and bring the car to workshop, the car need full engine change

bought car in 2024. 2025 battery kong? that's a lemon.
new car battery can go 3 years. maybe that was my experience with classic non-hi-tech cars.

20km not enough to charge? 20 minutes of 60kmh not enough to charge? how far do you need to drive?

I can tell you. It depends heavily on your luck also. Especially MF batteries.
My own car. Pretty low tech. Proton Inspira. Bought brand new. The battery from the factory only lasted me 18 months. Replaced with a Panasonic unit , i got 3 yrs 9 months out of it. Then subsequent battery replacements also got around 3 yrs+.

Until... I bought Bosch unit from an authorized dealer in Sept 2021. At the time , there was battery shortage everywhere. I couldn't find a higher CCA battery. Just plain MF 55d23l. I actually wanted 70D or higher. That crap only last me 20 months.

My previous yr 2001 Honda City SX8 no matter what battery i use , it usually last 2 1/2 yrs, -+ 1 month. Also low tech car.

Really kuat makan. I am on my 3rd battery at almot 5 years.
