2003
waja 1.8x was produced from year 2003 featuring dual airbags,ABS+EBD,VVT,Drive by Wire,immobilizer,leather seats,4 speed auto with overdrive mode,electronically retractable side mirrors,exterior wise are 16 inch rims,dual exhaust tips...
Stopped production in 2005...selling for 72k for 1.8 normal spec and 77k for 1.8X Premium

Any idea when is the new waja launching?? I'm waiting for the new waja to launch to so that I can purchase my 2nd waja ... I thought it's suppose to be launch end of the year..well, it's almost end of the year and yet I don't see or hear any news about it..

i dont think new waja is coming out very soon as they have just revised the waja to the china look .

Errr.. not sure what is my model though.. I bought mine in mid of 2002...I'm sure it's a mitsubishi engine.. but have no idea the model number...

Anyway, back to my question.. is there a new model coming out?? I was refering to the CPS model and hopefully a totally new look for waja.... I didn't know that there's a new waja model for China market.. so proton going to launch the china market waja in malaysia?? That's weeiirrdd.....

My gf bising me already.. and I am holding her back and told her to wait for the new waja.. any idea when is it coming out? if it's early next year.. I still can delay her for a while... if it's late next year... errr... I scare my ear gonna be really hurt by then.........

I don think there will be a new design or new look for waja ... perhaps only some new technology being implement onto the engine... not very sure it will be launch though.. should be next year..

I actually was looking for a Waja. I went over to the Proton Showroom and i was checking out the New Facelift Waja and honestly, i like it much more than the older design. The older design has the so called ' Bird Beak' in the front which doesn't look nice. The interior of the Waja 2007 is way much better. I'm actually contemplating whether to get it as the 2007 model changed my perspective of Waja. Any feedback on those who own the 2007 model???

RM2k for Sikadamp (entire boot and cabin floor area) + approx. RM 400 for Insuflex (doors and boot)

Damn fugly. The caliper paint start to chip off coz of extream heat. And the rim coz he spray it white, it becomes dirty easily. And the paint job was reallllly bad. It went to a point so bad. He rather just respray the whole 4 rims and caliper than cleaning it

If u wan to do it. Do it properly thru powder coating. Not using spray paint

Actually i realize this is interestingly true in many car forums. Unlike in computer hobby, where bragging rights comes from the knowledge you can teach others, car enthusiast are almost all kedekut ilmu. I have no idea why. They always keep what is under thier bonnet to themself and almost never share their knowledge to others.

i only know air filter,denso iridium,4-2-1,bullet,muffler,CAI..that's all i know..

Oh.. this does not apply to younger car clubs. Example like neo or myvi. Coz younger generation are more willing to share knowledge it seems. The one this apply's to it like some waja club, satria club, etc etc
