Was gonna get the x300 pro cn set, but saw Vivo Malaysia start teasing the global set. Saw some rumor saying the Malaysia set will be around RM4.8k for 16/512GB (CN model at 3.9k according to fastech). Want to ask is the additional cost of nearly RM1k worth it to get global/Malaysia set vs cheaper CN set?

Interesting that Vivo Malaysia removed all stocks of x100 pro and x200 pro prior to x300 pro launch

I dm some of the fb seller that taking preorder for Malaysia set, and they told me the 16GB/512GB without the kit is around RM4600-4800. So 5.8k-6k for the bundle should be very close to the actual price. Now I actually waver between getting malaysia set or just get the cheaper china set, but I heard china rom phone have notification issue, and no 5G when use in malaysia. |

for those who like taking 10x above telephoto, i recommend this lightweight tripod.
伟峰 WF-506X price includes shipping around rm99 you can find other cheaper seller. ![]() there is also cheaper alternative, but longer folded size and also lower extended height. (not recommended) ![]() This post has been edited by BOTAK_WAI: Nov 1 2025, 05:10 PM |

On top of that some app might not working down the road following cn rom update or the global app itself updating so no people can say for sure about it reliability. For me I think better just top up to avoid all the hassle, if you use phone for long term, the price difference for cn vs global set is not that much. Even if you are someone who frequently change phone, it's easier to sell global rom phone also. Don't listen to those who claim cn rom is as good etc etc, it's your phone not their. When something doesn't work, you are the 1 that have to spend more time to get it sorted out. |

My old phone, op 11G, with proper network condition, can reach 1Gbps in Singapore, it's just speed test but it shows you the theoretical speed that 5G can achieve.I believe it was 3 bands carrier aggregation . Newer phone with 5G can support up to 3 even 4 bands CA, to reach higher peak transfer rate. but most likely only achievable in city area. |

QUOTE(1024kbps @ Nov 1 2025, 05:18 PM) If you don't care about warranty and network support, you can pretty much ignore this post That the reason why , i always say , if really want to buy CN set , better just buy from fastech lim , because any model u want to buy , he will first get the unit to test 4G , 5G available in malaysia, and also delay notification in video and upload on his own facebook , telegram group , youtube , and his person very straightforward, nothing to hide , he also do carry huawei china , but before u really want place order , he will give u a warning that huawei is so troublesome for google service and ask u think twice , unlike those "youtuber" keep telling u now huawei can download ANY GOOGLE SERVICE without any problem.CN set may not support 4G and 5G carrier aggregation, meaning your phone can't make full use of the Malaysia network and international network, your internet speed might be slower than international set. I do confirm with him and do my own homework before my purchase , and after confirm that my Vivo x200s also supported 5g in malaysia , only i purchased. Just a simple question to ask everyone, did u ever or frequently heard that customer who purchase from fastech lim feel unhappy or feel being cheated by him? Seriously i just cant find one on internet , but in fact , i saw his sales keep growing over and over again , especially the malay market now. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Nov 2 2025, 10:05 AM |

If CN phone is so shit , i also wont using it for almost 5 year time since Iqoo neo5s , iqoo neo9 , and now vivo x200s. Why i so stupid using something that will cause me delay on notification phone for such long time? Am i crazy ? If the phone keep causing me delay and frustrating , will i keep on continue purchase and purchase? 2025 already bro , wake up. In fact i feel CN rom is more fun to use compared to GLOBAL unit. Take it as example for my vivo , the CN ROM do support Vivo office kit (vivo 办公套件) , which is crazy good. I mention again and again, its just so so so good. Its really depend on the user ownself , nothing is perfect, just use the one that suit your style. I dont like you one thing is , u didnt own vivo CN set before , but u claim like we (CN Rom) user are talking lie here , keep on pursuit ppl to get CN rom by telling lie , which i really feel uncomfortable from your comment. Because the needle now already cucuk my heart. QUOTE(FrostZero @ Nov 1 2025, 05:41 PM) Well I don't care about the warranty part, but a phone with network problem will be a deal breaker. Well , from my advice , dont be too rushing if u plan to get CN set , wait fastech lim received the x300 and x300pro CN set and test out the 5G signal , and also notification delay , if everything ok , only decide buy lo , my vivo x200s which only sold on CN set getting 400mbps 5g speed , no any signal problem bro , because before buy i wait fastech lim to test and confirm. I'm, waiting for the official local pricing, and IMHO, if it is less than RM700 price difference, I will get the local version due to not only to the extra free gift but for an additional one year product warranty.
