True , most of the time u only see the different if u really pixel to pixel / edge to edge comparison , and i believe vivo with sony/samsung sensor factory have to keep on improving the sensor technology , because the sensor ability already reach the ceiling , to break the ceiling even just half inch up more might request a super duper challenge for them, what we might see x200pro to x300pro look like not "TOO BIG" of improvement , but hey , it's like a F1 car that just looking for maybe 0.1 second faster lap than before might need spend million & month of R&D time , just to get the 0.1 improvement.
So if u ask me there is different? Yes , but in some extreme condition such as low light , challenging light , zoom , because this is where the weakness from a phone sensor vs DSLR Full Frame sensor , but for a normal consumer , like u say , even a RM2k phone main camera is doing no different especially on the daylight. I dont think one will really disappointed with any vivo X series phone photo quality. I mean , u will smile and wish to taking more photo with vivo X seriesĀ
sometimes it's just a matter of processing algorithm. So if u ask me there is different? no single algorithm can fits all taste 1 mah.
the sensor tech is quite hard to improve.
from what i observed, processing algorithm and AI still have big room for improvements.
lens also got room for improvement but it sure will sacrifice the weight, size, and cost.
if don't like, just shoot raw and edit sendiri lo...
i download dng raw files from reddit and do some adjustments
