The size of the f aperture is also important, noticed on the x200ultra the periscope zoom aperture is f2.3 while the x200pro periscope zoom aperture is f2.6. meaning if you're zooming at a person inside a dark shop the x200ultra will get a better shot even though both sensors are the same

Yeah , the aperture will let more light to enter your sensor , so can boost up your shutter speed with lower iso , that make the photo less blur yet more bright and less noise.

My Oppo Find X6 Pro is f2.6 periscope zoom image quality okay but if video zoom in dark video quality ko. That's why I'm waiting for the specs of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, hopefully the aperture is around f2.3 or f2.0

I'm not sure which model will get the new Sony LYT-828 sensor but it's looking good. Hopefully there will be comparison on the camera performance between the X100 Pro, X200 Pro/Ultra and upcoming X300 Pro/Ultra in the near future.

Being an X90 Pro user, I assume the difference between X90 Pro and X100 Pro in camera performance is small or minimal, X200 Pro/Ultra is noticeably better than X100 Pro and X90 Pro. Correct me if I'm entirely wrong. 😁 Hopefully the X300 Pro will be a noticeable or significant improvement in camera performance from the X200 Pro.

i think oppo video stil not so good if compared to their competitor , let see oppo will have video LOG in the find x9 series.

I think nowaday the main camera on day time is already very very good on every flagship phone , so most probably they might find some way to improve on telephoto and low light performance , for photo actually vivo / oppo is quite ahead compared to iphone especially for the zoom , let see how powerful will the x300 pro with this new sensor

Oppo video zoom okay under day light, but if dark areas quality of the zoom video ko. Need to use apps to brighten the video

recently im thinking to buy x200 ultra or pro , CN Rom .
but i have some questions , mainly due to the difference for global rom and cn rom .
does cn rom support e-sim? and if all the google service available ? at the same time i use the phone to work , curious if andriod workprofile works on cn rom ?

Currently the x200ultra is king in video zoom in dark areas. If the next generation Fons can improve more, then take my money ASAP.

High risk to buy a Chinese ROM for work. I buy my Oppo Find X6 Pro to install only Facebook Whatsapp telegram & WeChat only most of the time.

1. China ROM or any china Phone doesnt support e-sim , if u need e-sim , u have to go with x200 or pro for Global version.
2. For CN ROM except Huawei , all have build in GMS (Google Mobile Services) , so u can install Google Play store and use any android app.
3. No Voice assistant like "Hello google" , u have to manually press the app to use the Google voice Assistant. So no google smart home. But all google application can be use like normal.


Other than that , it just work like a normal phone and it support 5G without problem , if u ask me is it suitable for your First time and used as main phone ? I would say NO , because using a CN ROM phone for the first time is like driving a MANUAL CAR , u have to do the setting manually , so it request some knowledge to do some setting on the phone. But those mostly is one time setting la , once u setup the thing like "Open by default" , "Autostart permissions" , then good to go.

I share my experience , i starting with a little cheaper CN ROM phone to trying out (the Iqoo line) , because even if it's not suit me , i stil not losing too much , but since i'm more like to take challenge person , so i do figure out on youtube / reddit on how to really make the CN ROM work like a normal Global unit , and surprisingly it doesnt really bring me big problem on setting it up. After use for 2 year++ for the first time , it make me more confident with the CN ROM , starting to get 2nd phone and now 3rd phone to be my main phone without problem (this my 4-5th year of using CN ROM).

I even pass my previous IqooNeo9 CN ROM phone to my Dad , and he ask me "Why this phone so smooth and the camera so clear , screen so bright" , yes because i told him that phone was using Snapdragon 8Gen2 + 144hz refresh rate compared to he previous realme RM699 phone , sure have a big gap , and my dad been using more than 5 month now , no any single complain from him everything just work fine.


I'm using since OriginOS 3 , and now OriginOS 5 , i would say the delay notification is improve alot over the time , i actually facing some delay notification on OriginOS 3 quite serious , OriginOS 4 is OkOk but OriginOS 5 surprise me that.....it really work so well on notification.

U might share what is the main app or main feature u using now , so that we can try for you to see is it working well on CN ROM.

Yes, agreed. That is the reason I always focus on low light performance as only this area where the good flagship phones pull away. The improvement in low light performance with smartphones continue to evolve and now we can achieve almost DSLR-like performance with the large sensor phones 1/1.28" or 1-inch type phones.

Hopefully the X300 Pro will boast a much noticeable or improved camera as claimed when compared to the already excellent X200 Pro/Ultra. One good thing about Vivo phones is although the flagship model has a very good camera and as an overall package is very good, Vivo manage to keep the prices fairly down-to-earth during launch time. It's usually around RM5k or below, and few months or almost 1 year down the road, the price goes down to RM3k+ or lower. Unlike other brands, flagship phones are priced around RM6k or some even higher if I'm not mistaken.

Hopefully it can maintain the price and let more consumer to enjoy the phone at reasonable price.

haha that true , but Global ROM mostly start with 512gb instead of 256gb , and it's recommend to buy on double digit offer day or 25th pay day , if paying retail price really not worth it.

1st time use so weird... can fully utilised if use in CN only.

Yes , if u are in China , can fully utilized the feature on phone , but it actually not bad on here because i just close the open by default browser and set to my Chrome , the AI "Xiao V" actually quite good , but it request china cloud server which will respond slow sometime , but not a big deal because i using chatgpt and gemini all the time now

and i not so understand about responsive? I just feel even my Iqoo Neo 9 with snapdragon 8Gen2 is snappy than my samsung , and my current vivo x200s using 9400+ mediatek was as smooth as my iphone 16pm. iphone16pm sometime lock at 80-90hz actually , my vivo i set lock on 120hz all the time for all app. So i dont have responsive problem on the phone.

Still not tried the auto voice translate during call... don't how to set & seldom call ppl also... hahaha

I don't usually go for overpriced (new) flagship phones which are just launched unlike some people who want the latest gadget available in the market or have the knack of upgrading their phones every month like changing clothes. I usually buy them much later, usually when it's already almost outdated with the upcoming new model due to launch, or has launched. I'm a little cheapskate. When I bought the X90 Pro last year, they are already almost at rock bottom prices. New prices RM4.8k during launch and i bought at RM2.2k+/- when the X100 Pro is already out. It is fortunate that Vivo Malaysia still have some New Old stock of the X90 Pro, and i grabbed an additional one for my mum.

It would be the same with the upcoming X300 Pro which is now my target. I guess I will need to wait for the X400 Pro to be launched before I can get my hands on a heavily discounted X300 Pro.

I bought the X90 Pro on Lazada during sales period from the official Vivo store. I don't go for China set and will only go for Malaysian set from authorized sellers usually the phone company ie. Vivo Malaysia. I find that the price of new phones is significantly lower/cheaper on Lazada than Shopee during sales period ie. 9/9, 8/8, 7/7, 6/6 etc. For online shopping 99% of the stuff I buy from Shopee but for some high-priced electronics such as mobile phone it's Lazada.
