No need sorry....car manufacturer is always looking for profits. I also suspect the many fake oils and parts flooded here is one main issue, even mechanic having time to determine what's ori, 1st oem, 2nd and 3rd oem and fakes, esp honduh.

last time people say go buy oil from petrol station, guarantee no fake but my mechanic also told me, the oil salesman mentioned is the fake oil also masuk petrol station... cause syndicate get the driver delivering oil will swap with fake oil

only way is to go to the oil website to check for authenticity

really funny I tell you, when they say they wanna save the environment yada yada end up we spend more on some parts that supposed to last longer

F30 328i/335i  320i and 320d reliable la but better get b38/48/58  engine over N series. In general I find most F30 owners are Jerk's. Like kotek besar imposter syndrome gay buttfak problem

2016 320i facelift, petrol model... using b48 engine. Maintenance wear/tear avg per year i standy by 5k just in case.

Oil change/filter= rm500
Gearbox oil with filter =rm900 (This expensive but only need to change every 30-40k km)
Diff oil= rm300
Air filter/aircond filter= less than 200 because shopee cheap2..
Other than that so far ok. but i less use the car only weekend. But this model need to check ALL the cooling hose from engine to the radiator. If harden or u see the hoses turn brownish then better change all hoses to prevent coolant leak.
Diesel no comment. Anyway diesel model very less now in the market. If got also very high mileage.

Yeah from N52 onwards can see alot of cost-cutting exercise. N52 silver top vs black top already alot of parts become disposable.

Silver top has magnesium valve cover with modular PCV. Black top has plastic valve cover with built-in PCV. If PCV membrane torn, can throw the whole valve cover and replace new

N20 even worse. Even the oil pan become plastic. Top plastic, bottom also plastic.

F is actually getting hotter in the market now coz prices are getting rock bottom..lolz

e90 wanna sell at 25k who wanna buy if got relatively "newer" f30 at 30k-40k...topkek
