I had a 24" 165Hz monitor 1080P monitor, now I changed to 27" 100Hz 2K monitor, then I bring the 24" monitor to my workplace. 24" @ 1080P is the minimum requirement for a comfortable working screen space imo.

my previous monitor was acer. plugged into a wall plug for 4 years now that only now I realized has sub-optimal grounding. Which explains why every time there's thunder my monitor likes to turn off for a bit and then turn back on.

I found out that Mac OS works very well with Dell Monitors, in term of colour, contrast and dynamic range. There's no need to do any calibration and everything just looks exactly like MacBook setting.

My main OS is Mac, so naturally I have to use Dell as my main monitor.

but if I play games in 1080p using 2k monitor, the graphics may not look good, so I think better stick to native 1080p monitor.
