with e-invoicing
many will kena, if your counterparty (the tenant) is a company subject to e-invoicing.

the process will be something like this;
tenant company will perform self-bill (due to counterparty being individual)
self-bill will include detail like IC no;

hence when company (tenant) issue self-bill e-invoice they will remark Mr Ong Ah Kau as the landlord, rental paid RMxxx on which date. etc.

if the company rents from another company (subject to e-invoice) the other company (landlord) will issue them (tenant) an invoice for the rental via e-invoice anyway so no need for self-bill.

Will that subject to LHDN checking?

transfer e wallet already show transparency name etc etc, so easy for lhdn check , u cant go against them if they want to check or they will suspect u curi tax

If your landlord says raise rent, tell him go get fucked I change place, see he dare pass to you or not

SST is paid on the collector not renter Mar, you rent individual units each unit different landlord why should there be any sst?

All in malls. Memang paying already 5/6% actually since 2 years ago by madani juga. So now increase lagi😂
