many will kena, if your counterparty (the tenant) is a company subject to e-invoicing.

the process will be something like this;
tenant company will perform self-bill (due to counterparty being individual)
self-bill will include detail like IC no;

hence when company (tenant) issue self-bill e-invoice they will remark Mr Ong Ah Kau as the landlord, rental paid RMxxx on which date. etc.

if the company rents from another company (subject to e-invoice) the other company (landlord) will issue them (tenant) an invoice for the rental via e-invoice anyway so no need for self-bill.
