Cannot entirely blame the older gen. They (the India origin) were brought in by british plantation owners. What happen after estate ownership changed hands and what failed to cease (their estate housing, their aminities ie place of worship) with their employment with the estates is today's result. The then estate workers (old gen) has this 'adverse possession' mind in them. So they stayed on thinking. https://lawcrust.com/adverse-possession-india-law/ Who failed to correct this? That this law is tak laku-pakai in Msia, I leave this for another chapter. This post has been edited by jojolicia: Apr 23 2025, 04:29 PM MaybachS600 liked this post

Why is the young generation shame?
They didn't commit any crime, they are unaware of anything, most importantly, you didn't do it for worldly profits, you are simply practicing your religion. Just rectify the problem at hand, move on, and avoid repeating the same mistake. This post has been edited by smsid: Apr 23 2025, 04:21 PM |

I think they need to understand between land ownership, structure approval, land kebenaran kegunaan and temple registry.Old gen: People lived in the 50s-80s, MIC, Malaysia Hindu Sangam and Temple managements. Even the temple (chinese temple included) is registered but you don't own the land, land kegunaan not approved, building plan not approved, you still need to bring the registered temple operation elsewhere valid. QUOTE(jojolicia @ Apr 23 2025, 04:21 PM) I think they need to understand between land ownership, structure approval, land kebenaran kegunaan and temple registry. Not exactly. If the temple is old, there's always something called pemutihan to make sure all the plans are approved. Usually it involved a aku janji and majlis and local authorities will not be liable for anything that happens later like collapse, fire etc.Even the temple (chinese temple included) is registered but you don't own the land, land kegunaan not approved, building plan not approved, you still need to bring the registered temple operation elsewhere valid. So the mainnnnn point is always the land. That is something that cannot be white washed, they need to own the land the current owner need to be wiling to sell the land lol This post has been edited by dest9116: Apr 23 2025, 04:32 PM MaybachS600 liked this post

Yes, land ownership is important or at least get a rent grant (black & white) from the land owner. If you dont own the land or any documents to back up, the land owner with the legal documents can do whatever they want. MaybachS600 liked this post

QUOTE(jojolicia @ Apr 23 2025, 05:50 PM) Which part of "what failed to cease" that you did not comprehend in my writting? Sorry why there is special case where it ‘failed to cease’ ? This does not written in any lawYou may want to reread the para You not the employees of the said company anymore. You cannot ask for ownership of the company facilities. I ask you again. Show me any evidence where the ex employee can continue to stay or use company provided facilities even after they not employed or the company ceased operation |
