Cannot entirely blame the older gen. They (the India origin) were brought in by british plantation owners. What happen after estate ownership changed hands and what failed to cease (their estate housing, their aminities ie place of worship) with their employment with the estates is today's result.

The then estate workers (old gen) has this 'adverse possession' mind in them. So they stayed on thinking.

Who failed to correct this? That this law is tak laku-pakai in Msia, I leave this for another chapter.

It is not that simple.

You have to remember that when an estate changed ownership, the owner don't simple just bulldoze and flatten everything to an empty land.

It is more often that the new owner is also paying for the infrastructure that is on the piece of land and continue to develop and utilize the infrastructure.

And some how the land ownership falls to the government that proceed to break up estate into multiple plot of land and in the process of legitimizing and provisioning land for the existing infrastructure, for some reason conveniently left out the temple that is already there on the piece of land from since the beginning.

That is how many of these hundred year old temple got shatfed in the first place.

Sorry why there is special case where it ‘failed to cease’ ? This does not written in any law

You not the employees of the said company anymore. You cannot ask for ownership of the company facilities.

I ask you again. Show me any evidence where the ex employee can continue to stay or use company provided facilities even after they not employed or the company ceased operation

Aiyo fren, you really got reading comprehension problem. I meant exactly what's in your mind here.

I copy here for your reading again.

"Cannot entirely blame the older gen. They (the India origin) were brought in by british plantation owners. What happen after estate ownership changed hands and what failed to cease (their estate housing, their aminities ie place of worship) with their employment with the estates is today's result"

I don't know why you understood the direct opposite here.

You read post 21. He/she has understood the context correctly.

'Shafted' is a big word here and that's how and why all these contentions all about today.

"What failed to cease" in the first place.

Yes, land ownership is important or at least get a rent grant (black & white) from the land owner. If you dont own the land or any documents to back up, the land owner with the legal documents can do whatever they want.

kuil in Rasah
Sime darby offer to sell to kuil
but kuil dont want to buy
in other word, want free land .

2. Disember 2023: Penyerahan Dokumen oleh Jawatankuasa Kuil kepada saya.

Kuil Sri Mahamariamman Rasah Melalui Usaha Bersama

finally, sime darby has to surrender the land to kuil . want to sell, kuil refuse to buy. kuil also dont want to move out.
