Isn't this a bit a risk? You give request id to TM and hoping TM counter. What if TM just proceed the request? Now you got astro + astro fiber.

Rm90 for 500mbps, Rm90 for certain period of time, 12 month if im not mistaken, after that i wonder if still rm90 or not

My issue right now is my router doesn't output 100mbps, only at 30mbps and the technician checked and confirmed it is the router issue.
So im wondering, if i change the router and the issue still happens, i wasted that purchase. If i renew, then I'm stuck for another 2 years, but hey, new router.

Both units cannot turn on. I am now using the allinone router DLINk and manage to setup successfully. Not sure if I can get another Modem replacement from UNIFI as backup. And also now I have to replacement my Xiaomi AX3600 that working perfectly all ths while.

The 1 they gave me for 1G speed is the DLINK Router Modem. I temporary replaced both my Huawei modem and Xiaomi router with this 1.

Will update again when the technician come ths Tuesday. Thanks again for your advice. I am currently on the SWU with 1Gb speed for 24 months. That is the reason I don't prefer to renew 2 years contract as I may paying premium without the speed upgrade after 2 years.

Giving up already. Went to TMPoint at Menara TM, said the same thing, SWU 5.0 - 500mbps at RM139 free 6mths.
Asked why so many others getting 500mbps at RM90, they kept asking for proof, give account # to verify.  :confused:

Probably need to switch to Astro already. How good/bad is Astro fibre?

Upon checking contract, mine still active until Sept 2025, she firmly said that cannot give other offer sir, since still in contract but kindly reaffirm that once contracts end there still be other offering they will offer.

Seems they oso know edy to counter our script, i tried oso mention, bout the transfer id, and possibility of astro absorbed my remaining month contract (making story only), but she not even flinch to offer me the current SWU offer. So now at klcc, not like before can just get that offer while still in contract.. Iskk..iskk..

She just said, kindly check properly sir, worried that u pay 2 bills at one time if not done right. Pftt..

Is 800Mbps plan existent? As of now, it's no longer available for new subscription. What's the lowest known sub fee for this plan as of now? I've just splurged myself new routers, I'm itchy for higher bandwidth to make full use of it😁

I stopped using torrents more than 10 years ago, so as a regular user, I'm OK with any IP address.
I used to have public IP on Maxis but since they started charging RM 10 every month, so I stopped it and experienced no difference in speed. I suppose I fall under the typical user category, rather than the advanced users.

The original argument was that public IP will be given depending on monthly payment in the 500Mbps plan.

This is very unlikely because technically the profile is configured by plan. There's no definition of pricing during the technical configuration.

So everyone, go get the 500Mbps at RM90.

went to tm point last saturday to swap my out of contract plan to SWU 300Mbps + all unifi channels @ RM139. submission done.

checked my order on myunifi app later in the evening and saw that my order status is cancelled in the system.

chat with unifi cs and they told me if submission done at tm point, need to wait 3 working days but until today still no progress.

may i know usually how long for new unifi plan to take effect?
