does this scale equivalent to tomy diecast series and the hotwheels series as well? for a price u mention on the 1/64 aint cheap le... but good is tat the high quality remains to be consistent for aa even in 1/64 scale...

lolzzz... currently we hardly see diecast cars made from elsewhere except china lar... the quality they make for kyosho, aa, hotworks start to get my confidence oredi... unless for maistos some are from our frenly neighbour country where thai boxing is popular...

next up, my western collection continues with this black Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren of Maisto... cant afford the CMC version so this Maisto should be ok for me le... besides its my favourite black color... spot one at Tag Heuer watch shop in Pavillion oso...




i still remember tat i bought this car on 1/1/2008... when i took the box and looked the year of the box, it states "2008"... kinda surprise tat the box i held was a brand new product! so i assume tat this should be second or reproduction of SLR McLaren from Maisto... i guess there will be more to come in major departmental stores in KL...

quality is kinda acceptable for this kinda price le... sayang is tat no window glasses and interior a bit dull with this bright color... its a maisto after all, its ok for a budget collector like me...

remind me of a fan, wind tunnel fan maybe...





oh yea... one more thing on this model is tat... when u open both doors, u cant open the bonnet coz the doors will block the bonnet... so u have to close all the doors baru can open the bonnet... oso, once u open the bonnet u cant close it if u open both the doors... therefore all doors should be closed before the bonnet is opened or closed...

i like the rear lamps but not the interior....

ur buy all car is finish product??? all urself a piece a piece complete 1??

my 1 is me a piece a piece complete 1 --like puzzle!!
Tamiya shop buy is finish product im dislike, but can piece together 1 is plastic car....!!!

(my collect car like stainless steel but engine n some is plastic lar11)

Jasonist, your SLR is cool...i got 1 too.. hehe...same color as mine...but i'm now looking fo the new color of the SLR...also made by Maisto, scale 1:18... Exterior color is grey, interior color is red... only saw the piture yet...haven see the car yet

grey one maybe can get at TRU....but those box condition >.<"

maybe near accurate size this AA 1:64.. as i said quality higher then TOMY, and i can't compare with 100% Hotwheels series.. have an hard case is nice for display n protection..

i just mention made in China, as some guys only want diff county for their diecasts car.. which better Thailand? i think it depend on factory, not country.. agree?

oh yea... tat one is very nice especially the interior with tat color... u plan to get tat as well? lets hope here will have stock coming soon... Toys R' Us in Singapore oredi have stock for it...

zefflodo: nice M6 there... do u put it in a cabinet for display or in the box?

cawan: yup... their supervisors should be sharp enough to ensure the quality is fine... sometimes even though the factory is in china/thailand/india, the management still lies on those mat sallehs...

CMC is a diecast maker producing high quality diecast cars... the SLR McLaren is one of their production... u can check it at Nikko Atria Damansara Jaya... the quality of CMC is far better than aa, kyosho, hotworks... so the 1/18 SLRs CMC version are priced at least RM1000 each...

n sorry man, my camera is juz a video cam for shooting photos... so the quality aint good... pls don expect more details on image...


btw guys... if u like Super GT, juz save up ur money for the aa diecast version of the new Nissan GTR GT500! this is one machine i MUST buy for my Super GT collection!
