You can use ceramic carbon filter instead of plain ceramic. On the paip, you can get horizontal or vertical connection.

Thanks. Found out either use 3m or bacfree brand.

Under sink still looks better overall

My own setup is a doulton ceramic candle in a stainless steel housing... fix onto the tap to save space as like picture below. But unlike the picture, it is connected to another filter/dispenser.

The dispenser is placed next to the sink, as mentioned above, for convenience of filling bottles higher than the dispenser.

I didn't buy it. It's inherited together with the house! smile.gif

Couldn't find it on Doulton's website, but shoppee has another brand...

Can combine it with the nice looking Panasonic filter in previous picture. So that it is on top of the counter, instead of over the sink, and can place your cup/glass under the dispenser and not holding it while it is being fill.

Thanks. Im trying to see the setup. It seems the hose will be shown on the sink...

Is yours only showing this water filter..and hose all underneath?

It would be something like this... with the white rubber connected to the stainless steel housing at the top instead of directly to the tap. And the tap is a double tap as in post #12.

The white rubber hose can be cut to length... not like in the picture with it running all over the counter. smile.gif

Btw in above post and picture, there is a column at the sink. So the dispenser cannot be placed neatly at the back and the white rubber hose is not neatly pushed against and along the wall to the dispenser.

Using the stainless steel housing fixed to the tap, it will be behind the sink, not over the sink since the hose is not fixed to the tap head.

Thanks. Will skip this given the hose arrangement.

Mostly got 2 incoming water meaning got 2 separate water on/off handle, meaning got 2 water incoming meaning satu bagi purifier water the other just tap water , 3 way meaning can pull out and stationary already 2 way the other 1 way just for purifier aka 3 way

You show your plumber he should be able to using some flexible hose, some water purifier hose, some connector, some PVC T socket, some PVC plug and some male to female socket or both male socket kind of lego way and everything hide under counter top assuming your tap water source is from your bottom counter water sink.

If u still cannot imagine i draw u some diagram 😂

I was also sourcing around for undersink mounted, drink from tap filter. Another consideration is whether you want hot and cold water settin, and whether you want maintenance free filter.

If both is not needed, I recommend Bacfree. Can see their line up in Shopee. They also provide installation. They had to core my quartz stone counter top to install the tap. Overall satisfied with the quality and installation.

do you all know how much roughly is it for the water pipe to be modified.. something about putting kitchen cabinet, so the pipe needs to move lower etc. something about drill a bit on the tile...

the plumber is charging me rm500 to do the work...he was at my place just for 2 hours... then he will charge me again when the kitchen cabinet is being installed.

I can’t answer for other plumber but since I got it from Bacfree, everything was done by them. Coring of the quartz stone countertop, plumbing work, materials, and installation labor.

In terms of material, I think there’s hoses, a joint to split the water supply between the kitchen sink faucet to the water filter faucet, and the small faucet for the water filter.

Cant comment bout the price because I do it my self. Solid surface is easier to drill and resist cracking like granite or marble tiles.
Coring a 1.5" hole on the 3" concrete is not that easy too to some.
