Thanks for the recommendation

I saw bacfree and also 3m.
Bacfree is pricier and on sink
3m is cheaper and under sink

If I recall correctly I bought the 1.6k one with installation option. Single filter. The filter is installed under the sink, but they will install a small tap on the counter top. Hence, the bulky filter is hidden under the sink and inside the cabinet.

When I was shopping around I think I saw this one 3M model, same design but with 2 stage filter and LED filter life span indicator. It’s around 1.8k but no installation included. I didn’t go with this as it’s 2 filter which means you need to replace 2 at one go and there’s the battery for the LED which you need to replace periodically.

But again, like I say, consider those factors, then it’ll be easier to decide.

Thanks a lot. Yes. They'll drill a hole.

3M now has single filter. Very similar to bacfree. Will consider my options. Thanks again

Maybe can replace your plumber and find more experience plumber?

The faucet have 2 incoming, wall tap water out install T socket

Then T socket can split one for filter water then exit to faucet then other side straight to faucet tap water

If like this your plumber also tak faham how to do it can just ask the plumber close for business and ask him balik kampung dong dong qiang lagi baik.

Can share the shopee/ecommerce site link to the black coloured faucet you showed? To be fair to TS, it wasn't clear that it has two sources even though it is.

Actually I was looking more for 1 tap can pull out, one is regular tap and another with the water filter outlet - that is very specific niche - and I afraid it's gonna cost a lot.

Went to Mr DIY and saw a few that I like (but don't have the 3 outlets that I wanted) but then no stock, only got display units, sigh....

If your house have hot and cold water in single faucet by turn right or turn left those usually with 2 separate flexible hose inside the faucet and basically is a same concept kind of things

I don't know which link liao but I only google search with keyword pull out faucet with purification water or keyword 3 way or 4 way pull out tap/faucet should be instantly pop up either laz/sho/tao bao.

I plan to install a pull out water tap... and the renovation guy says cannot fix the water filter head to it...

I am currently using https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q...hpJuikNGexcgw&s panasonic water filter...

he recommended to connect to a small pipe at the corner left upper end sink... can i ask which brand of water filter should i buy then?

i just need a simple one actually. thanks for helping.

The setup is something like this, right?

So, changing the tap to a pull out/down type... will require a different setup for the water filter, as what the contractor recommended, right?

i plan to use 3M undersink water filter, ok right?

update. this one you provided is the same i had... contractor says doesn't work
*
Now, you planning to change the filter to a under sink type...

If you used back the current water filter, the 2-tap setup as shown will work if one side can change to a pull out/down tap, and the other to be fixed to the water filter.

But will not work if you change to a undersink filter. Will need to cut another hole for the water pipe... as mentioned in 1st post.

your explanation is perfect!

if use two tap set up, the set up looks ugly actually, so will change to undersink, more neater looking...

got it, thanks a lot thumbup.gif

So... it's back to the initial recommendation, cutting another hole for the water filter... regardless whether the filter is on the counter or hidden underneath.

I use undersink filter because countertop is an asset. If I put water filter on top, then space next to sink would be reduced.

Yes. need to make small hole to install drinking faucet. I put it away to corner of sink so that I can put big high bottle in side the sink and I can use also counter top to fill canister with filtered water.

If on the top, you have 2 option, either on the counter or on the piping

Macam the below

Or on the pipe

You can use ceramic carbon filter instead of plain ceramic. On the paip, you can get horizontal or vertical connection.
