Hah? One UI mean BIG UI? on old samsung phone i did not adjust minimum width, but now i need, as One UI keep making whole thing bigger

On One UI 7, I can unlock secure folder using fingerprint/pin, etc ...

Now I had to register my fingerprint again in order to unlock secure folder in One UI 8
Some more notification panel got secure folder icon

got bigger bro. not just the battery text size.

calendar widget also they mess up. font so small on the monthly calendar, but for others like countdown, the text so fcking big. wtf.

brightness slider in notification panel also got larger

dont understand why they are trying to be like iOS where everything is so big, as if its for the blind ppl to use.

yea im using 480 and smart launcher now.

everything is too bloody big.

one ui 6 they made it big

one ui 7 they mess up so many of the widget layouts and have so many inconsistencies

now one ui 8 they really made the OS for the blind ppl to use. so big for what. LOL

funny how they ran the Beta for so long but nobody feedback regarding these? UI changes should be easy to implement

maybe they are previous iOS users who are just excited to join the beta program so when the see everything is big, they felt its natural. lol

but long time One UI users know that their UI is getting bigger and bigger and more ridiculous.

just updated.... first impression, honestly I don't feel the changes are that obvious, other than the larger fonts on the weather widgets, the rest seems to look the same to me. Maybe I'm just not sensitive enough to these kinda details

[Edit] ok on further usage, noticed that the folder icons are more spread out now it seems, this one also obvious

[Edit 2] it seems the issue above was caused by my Good Lock module not updated. Once updated the folder style is displaying correctly again. This is what I'm using -

it does. I'm using leak 8.0 on my s24u.

2 whatsapp, 1 lazada already full, cannot see internet speed at all

And Secure Folder icon is on notification panel

If I off it then my apps in secure folder totally gone

Not sure placeabo or what.... One UI 8 felt smoother to me compared to 7. Will see again after few weeks using

Overall the whole update felt more like One UI 7.5 than 8 to me. No major changes, but small tweaks here and there that some will like / dislike

How come your whatsapp will have 2 icon? I thought if multiple notification it will still show as 1 icon?
