Wait 1 month aje after launch... drop RM1,500.00 terus.

Got my S24U 512GB in mid-February 2024 - RM5370 from official RM6799.
No freebies, but didn't matter anyway.

Buying process is also another issue. Have to add in this voucher, that voucher for discount, add PWP, trade in making the buying experience complicated. rclxub.gif Why dont Samsung make it simple this round by doing pre-orders like the previous rounds by adding freebies on the purchase to make everything smoother and easier for buyers.

A key lesson I’ve learned that I would like to share is to wait at least three months after a product launch before making a purchase. By then, platforms like Shopee or Lazada often offer discounts that can bring the price down by RM500 to RM700 compared to the launch price. For even greater savings, waiting six months can yield further discounts. This has been my strategy since the Samsung S22 Ultra – avoiding the launch rush and getting better value for money

You totally get me, bro. These days, I don’t use Lazada anymore because Shopee PayLater just takes the cake with their paylater. Imagine getting a discounted price, stacking it with bonus vouchers, and then splitting payments over 6 months with 0% interest. My PayLater credit has already climbed to RM7,500

This remind me of unpleasant experience with S22U. Received preorder voucher but no stock, have to wait. 5k phone comes with just a box. Lousy unboxing experience. dry.gif

It’s really just a Samsung marketing tactic. The voucher discounts are already factored into their perceived retail value, so while it might seem like you’re getting a big discount, you’ve actually already paid for it in the price.

Hi, I am planning to go for the upcoming S25U.

The current phone I am using, Nothing Phone 2, has been sent to warranty after only 1 year+ of usage, and they(The distributor) want me to pay for a replacement cost of RM2k++, which is unacceptable as it is still covered under extended warranty. It is another issue I have to deal with in life. mad.gif

I would like your suggestions on the best deal or option based on your experience.

I am considering not choosing any telco plan option and instead purchasing using a Credit Card (RHB/HSBC) with a 24-month installment.

Also, do not trade in any phone.

I am choosing between official Samsung, SenQ, or other retailers offering better or similar benefits.

I am thinking of getting it from SenQ because, with the low membership fee, it comes with an extra year warranty.
It looks very tempting, but I might miss out on all the rebates, pre-orders, or other unknown offers that Official Samsung has made.

Also, after researching past-year models S24 and S23, I found that both Samsung Official and Retailer offer similar pre-order promos, such as double storage / PWP.
Official Samsung Online will give an online voucher, where the retailer will provide a free product, such as buds, a charger, or an accessories kit.

I have an EDU email for the program, and I wonder if that can stack up vouchers and save up more cost.

I filled out the RM200 pre-interested registration and saw another product that required RM100 to receive RM600 in value.

samsung.com/my/gift-card/e-vouchers/pre-registration-evoucher-z-code-evoucher

Does anyone recall Samsung having this "Reservation+ Voucher" in the past?
To reserve or show interest in buying the new series phone, you have to pay RMxx, and they give you a rebate voucher.

I wonder if this new thing has replaced the old promo campaigns like S23 and S24, where you pre-order, and they offer an RM400 / RM500 voucher instead of buying this Reservation Voucher first.

I'm unsure if this will replace the Pre-Order offer or if it is a new/separate thing.

Please let me know your thoughts.
I also plan to visit the Samsung or SenQ store at 1utama for more information.

I'm sorry for posting the same post on an older S24 thread. I did not notice there was an S25 thread already.

After reading what you guys shared on the first page, where the price drop is so significant, I am also open to waiting for 1/2 month after the release, maybe March/April.

The main purpose of this posting is to get as much experience as possible from you, which will help me plan accordingly. I appreciate any help you can provide.

As a new account user, this is my last post every 12 hours.
I will reply after I get my post allocation back.
