All EV cars have no excise tax. Why u no buy?

Current Rahman Axia is under RM30k. This Axia have the similar specifications of previous myvi generation. The formula were made long time ago, should compare to old gen myvi.

Yep, the west kept saying China government subsidising Chinese cars, but actually the government got a set of requirements for the subsidies. Any car makers meet that requirement will get the subsidies.

I thought ph become gomen will have some changes on this

Seems, Geely-rebadged Proton X50/X70/X90/S70 got less grants/subsidies.

in other word our National cars do brought up our car prices. any foreign brand can't price their car lower than our local car and our local car can't bring down the prices because not enough volume.
wouldn't it be better without the 2Ps in the automobile market?

Chinese consumers are turning to Chinese EV because better. Better fuel, better ride. So Japanese cars no more popular, that's why prices dropped so much. Imagine, you realise you need less than half the cost to run the car every month.

as long you buy a new car , the so called National or NON National NEW car , you are subjected to either or both , Sales Tax & Excise Duties ON TOP OF PAYING YOUR LHDN TAX . sounds like many layers of Taxation to feed those useless

Coz majority of the 'local made' Japanese cars are JV between JP & CCP companies.
Support those local made Japanese cars = support local industries also (including whole supply chains). At the end, the products must be competitive.

I just came back from CCP land, i seriously don't see how corolla is 'good' enough unless they price it at very competitive price. Too many good CCP's NEV cars on the market (including those high end premium cars).
