If you papa account got ATM card.....change the limit and if you know the password.
Withdraw everything unless your papa got hundred of thousand.
But do it before reporting to JPN to get his death certificate.
If not, follow other sifu here to proceed on your Dad bank account.

Go to your local Adun where your Dad stay to apply for "funeral expenses"......RM500
It will take about 1 month after "verification call" from the local party.
In my case, DAP.

If your Dad got BR1M assistance from Government, then proceed to nearest BSN to apply for "funeral expenses".
Bring all necessary document to bank and just get que number and go over the counter for application.
On spot you will get cash RM1,000.

And if your Dad is pensioner, go to CyberJaya KWAP office and bring documentation for "funeral expenses"
Apply on spot over the counter.
Money RM3,000 will be remitted into your bank account within 1 month but usually 2 week.

Else the living is more important than the dead if financially tight.

Then all bank account under his name will be freeze instantly.
So, ATM doesn't work anymore.

Can discuss with Nirvana agent or walk-in to their office. We did the same which after cremate and the urn is put in pagoda building. Cost us around rm20k for everything they will settle for you.

Oh, I thought bank account all will work one. So JPN will instruct bank to freeze all bank one de lah ? Okok

Banking account not freeze, my dad's not freezed for sure.
I even transferred some of his loose change to his account.
Still can access his online banking.

Now waiting for lawyer to settle and then withdraw, close and distribute the balance to the young ones.

BRIM/STR no longer coming in though.
