I thought they don’t use the sticker anymore? I renewed mine at post office last month, they give the small paper. Similar to the old motorcycle road tax.

I did it together with the insurance, at the insurance office. Nicely laminated too. (So i can stick it on the windshield as normally done.)

And then charge me extra rm15 for the convenience and service. 😲

The small paper receipt or the road tax paper?

Should just put inside car drawer but not paste on windscreen

Yes, they have the machine.

It is credit card size.

Last year still got the sticker when i renewed it at jpj, after a post office girl informed me to try see whether jpj still got the sticker.

Niama... sticker oso ah loke want to jimat. If jpj too congested with CUSTOMERS, then open smaller branch offices in shoplots in town la. Like this oso don't know.

Ownself created the problem (and inconvenience) by stopping post offices from printing stickers.

Lastly, stopped payment counters in jpj from accepting cash. This cash option is completely removed, as if the ringgit is no longer legal tender.

Self-service kiosks are job killers. Bad for the economy.

Look around your town, still got shoplots not open since covid years or not. Rent la those shoplots and revive the area. Then hire additional staff from jaga to branch managers. This creates jobs, and put money into the rakyat pockets.

He can govment the agency by reducing costs... but it's the wrong way. He was elected to govern FOR THE RAKYAT.

I am a rakyat. And i have to pay more just to get the printed road tax. He got elected into position... and he forgotten the people???

The issue with JPJ stickers concerns us because there have been many cases of corruption in enforcement.

E-payment is a trend....

Even in Genting, some restaurants no longer accept cash. Additionally, some government offices in Singapore only accept payment via credit card or bank transfer.

Removing the sticker completely has nothing to do with savings
Nothing to with congested branch, nothing to do with understaffed
It's basically one way of loke shoving down PDRM's throat forcefully

It should have been an option.

Now, you and every rakyat in the whole country MUST buy an electronic communication device (imported from a foreign country some more and more money outflow) in order to have a life and survive. smile.gif

basically forcing PDRM to acknowledge that there is no more physical roadtax

else you guys are gonna keep getting harrassed by them requesting where is your roadtax laugh.gif

no more physical roadtax = what is there to ask/look? laugh.gif
now they're forced to use the correct way to check for valid roadtax which they already have since the beginning, they're just lazy to bring it out

The kiosk won’t kill jobs la… it only has limited service like renew road tax, print geran, etc. the Jpj staff better focus on other more complex tasks like transfer ownership, registration, etc.

I never faced any harassment before, never. Me got the road tax prominently displayed on the windshield. Always, and every year.

(See above photo. It's from my car windshield.)

Make life easy for everyone, including the polis.☺️

If all cars must display road tax, including those abandoned on roadside, make life easy for town council too. So can tarik as no road tax, not legal to be on any public roads.

Now, no need road tax display... better hope the other car driver did not forget to renew road tax and INSURANCE when in accident.

Bcoz Ah Loke have stopped Pos Office which have waaaaaaaaay more branch than JPJ from giving their usual JPJ services & redirect the traffic to JPJ office, thus JPJ the civil servant can't cope.
