Another FZ18 user here. Bought at Akihabara, Japan for Yen$48,000.

Was comparing it against slightly expensive FZ50, but finally bought FZ18. So far, very2 glad with the purchase.

Also saw the new LX10 - DSLR..wow..

im looking to buy a TZ3, can u all recommend a good shop in KL to buy?. While searching in LYN, realised that this model is selling as low as RM1150?...hopefully i can get the same price outside too.

Hey. I too am interested in TZ3. So far i cant find a shop that can offer that price. Still searching whilst waiting for the official price for TZ4 and TZ5.

Pics on the thread, you need to use an external link. Open account on photobucket , upload your pics there. Then copy and past your link in the [IMG] button when you want to reply.


Those forum prices of the TZ won't give you the mem card, screen protector,pouch or other freebies. Probably just the camera alone and nothing else. But still I doubt you can find RM11XX price at retail shops for the TZ3, I tried before also before I bought mine.


So fast they come out with TZ4/5. Would have been better if they waited for new technology like cmos sensor or newtype battery? new body shell construction? then only come out with a new TZ. At least correct the damn low light disadvantage of this cam.

How much u bought yours? what freebies did u get?

forum.. rm1160. nothing else but the tz3 camera. Their office just 1 floor below my fitness center, so it was convenient to pick up. That was last year 5 months ago.

mem card 2 gig Kingston I bought from pc fair I think in the RM80 range, wonpro power socket adapter RM11, carrying case like I mentioned earlier rm40+. mini tripod RM10 from Carrefour. Using another pouch I already had to keep the extra stuff like av cable, usb cable,charger, cloth.

So wherever I go with the camera away from home, i bring 2 small pouches. ahaha. . But of course I leave the extra stuff pouch at the place I am staying and just go out with the carrying case lar.

for fz20 the best advantage i must say is the f2.8 aperture. gives you more flexibility to get the 'right' exposure under low light without the support.

got it just b4 CNY...still playing around but the image quality is not as good as my old Canon Powershot G2 that was 5 years old....
