Added on March 22, 2008, 6:18 pmQUOTE(arthur5011 @ Mar 22 2008, 09:33 AM) hi there, anyone of your tried FX36? i saw it at Foto Selangor@pertama complex on thursday. but i went to Midvalley.. fotokem told me haven arrived.. any comment on this cam.. really plan to get it lah.. Why not wait for the very latest model the DMC-FX500 With the DMC-FX500(FX520), auto focus and exposure can be set at the desired part of the frame by simply touching the subject at that part to activate the AF/AE. This eliminates the need to make adjustments after pressing the shutter halfway, allowing you to set the desired composition and appropriate exposure easily and accurately. This is also helpful when you would like to designate the subject out of other objects in the frame, to set best appropriate focus and exposure right on it. AF/AE tracking is new with the DMC-FX500(FX520). Once the AF/AE subject is selected by touch control, it continues to track the subject even if it moves. This is especially helpful for catching active children or pets. It also conveniently tracks the subject when the person taking the photo is riding on a moving object. And it minimizes the shutter time lag for spur-of-the-moment shots. Guys.... question for those TZ3 users...
- How does the battery performance so far? do you ever need to use the xtra battery package? - roughly how long does a fully charge battery last you guys (in terms of # of picture taken) - Does the performance of the battery decreases as time pass by meaning after a few month the number of pictures taken reduce tremendously. - Easy to claim for warranty/ service?
i'm seriously considering to get this camera due to the lens and the zooming and been comparing this to the Sony H3 and Canon SX100

is it true that TZ3 is not very good in low light condition but it got 60 sec in Starry mode woh? in my mind was thinking to get a portable & yet powerful camera such as this TZ3, LZ7 or maybe Ricoh R6 / R7? which one you guys think is the best bet for night & low light shot? thanks
