Hi all, I finally became part of the PSP gang....

I brought my PSP from Game Tech, BJ Penang.

Total expenses was RM850..... Package includes:

1. PSP console in a box:come with the console, adapter, manual, battery.
2. 8G memory card
3. Crystal Case(good quality type) + screen protector.
4. Hard porch.
5. USB cable(with charging head).
6. Hand stripe.
7. 2 times full load of games.
8. 1 month warrantee, 1 year free service.
Note:if with 4G memory card, it only cost RM750.

I add RM45 for the component cable(2.5meter long).

Found the taukea very helpful and friendly.

Any comment to the price I paid? I guess it was reasonable.....

The boss said it will be a bit tight if you have the crystal case and yet want to put the psp in the pouch.

But he said crystal case will protect against scratches, and pouch will protect against water.. and since he give for free, I take it loh... Maybe I can trade with other thing hor......

RM850 only give my USB cable.... The component cable cost me another RM45....
So my total expenses for the day was RM850+45=RM895...... cry.gif

WRT the warrantee, he said 'warrantee', not guarantee.... I don't know the different. yawn.gif
But he said Sony console is very lasting one(he showed me his old thick PSP which he say still working since day 1)....
But he reminded me that 'Don't Drop'....

Things that I don't have in my package:
1. Car adapter(for charging).... the boss say no need as you won't play in car for more that 5 hours..... blush.gif
2. Headset.......I think it will be ok as I am not going to play in library.... rclxm9.gif

Now my only hope is they give good after sale services........
I still have 1 time free load of games to my 8G memory card......
Then after that will be RM3/game, 3Games for RM10.....

o...i though tat 45 is ad add in in d 850.so,total up is 895 la...den price quite normal lo...as they gv u hard pouch not soft pouch,it stil remain valuable.for me,i don like playing with case as it wil make my hand pain and hard to control.u can try and c..mostly after few time,u wil complain tat d joypad is hard to control and d console wil become heavier.if u take gd care of it,it is hard to get scretch.i agree v u,d car charger is not suitable for those short range user as v only wil play at home.d headset if it is not logitech or ori,it wil only make ur ear pain after wearing it.so is wisely u din take dem.game ah...i cant mention here, but if u wan u can pm me for my "UMD" collection.

Would like to ask master sifu here: With the mod, the console will retrieve games from the memory card. Does that means that the UDM drive is redundant? Or who actually use the UMD drive, and for what purpose?

I haven't had any problems posting games so far. Pos Ekspres can track so minimal chance of losing the games. I've got members in Penang, Miri, Ipoh and Johor and so far I haven't lost any titles.

Not financially feasible dude, even in KL. Not enough members to cover the costs of shop rental. I know a lot of you are concerned that there is no concrete presence but for rental business it doesn't work. If I rent a shop, my rental costs will be at least RM2k including hiring staff, utilities etc. If members pay me RM50 per month, that means I must have at LEAST 50 members to cover the cost of that rental. That's not including the cost of stocking up on new games. So I will need at least 100 to 150 members just to break even if I set up a shop. And that's just 1 shop!

I adapted the Gamefly business model and modified it a bit for our market. It works fine in the US where everyone buys and rents stuff online. It's working fine here too so far though Malaysians still seem to be wary of online businesses and mailing. Blackmango Games has been around for 7 months and I have not lost a single game through mailing so far! So give Pos Malaysia some credit. They're actually quite reliable nowadays. If you guys were more open to the idea of mailing, you'd be able to source your games a lot more cheaply. The shops there take advantage of this to mark up the prices to exorbitant levels. I know some of you are quite used to buying used games and getting them mailed over to Penang and this is no different.

Having said that, I've decided to amend the previous offer since no one from Penang is interested. So from today on, no more 3 months at 40% discount. I'm now offering a 1 month free trial instead!

Terms and conditions:
Refundable deposit RM200
Mailing charges - via pos ekpres. This is paid on a per game basis.

Hey Guys,

Since that my R4DS doesn't support any current technology anymore, I was wondering what are the "hit" Flasd Card in Penang and their price at the moment?

Thank you.

Anyone can help me?

I connect my PSP to my 32" LCD TV. The display for the menu page is ok, covering the entire display of my LCD. But when I choose and start to play game, the display shrink to around 80% of the display in the center.

Anyone encounter this problem? Is it normal or what shall I do to have the full display like in the menu page when I am playing game?
