It's mean that the pre-install leopard in new macbook is not same as the retail leopard. Retail Leopard build is 9A581

Remember reading somewhere OSX that comes together with the Mac is meant for that particular Mac model (Macbook, MBP etc) only, perhaps that's the reason it's a different build.

there is no bootcamp in the pre-install leopard mac

I want to get points on my credit card too....

I went to EpiCentre in Pavillion but they don't have it yet. I thought they're the premium resellers? They can't even tell me when they will be available.

On the plus side, the shop looks real nice and there's tons of machine to play around with, and the sales guys are pretty friendly too.

i think this price for MacBook using Intel GMA 950 chipset... they celaring out stock for MacBook with latest Intel X3100 chipset to comes in... go n compare specs between malaysia site and US site... their MacBook using X3100...

Ohh..too bad then..if that is indeed the price for new MB then im gonna buy one. Its 200MYR reduce than previous one.

The new MB in Aussie here is 1599AUD which translate to 1600x3 = 4800MYR. The current exchange rate is slightly more than RM3 i think.

So if the new MB in malaysia is indeed 3999 then its RM800 cheaper than OZ. Can someone confirm the price for the new MB here?
