UEC is a must , student encourage to take spm also , so they easy to enter university and look for job future, but spm only take core subject

special or not, i was pointing out the fact that 5am wake up was a norm, but some making it like a super duper "stress" thing, c'mon, my neighborhood primary school also require my relative to wake up at 5.15am and bus come by 6am NOW.

30-40 years ago totally diff, have to tumpang who ever ppassing by that area, i.e. Nan Kai / Chung hwa Jalan Ipoh was considered "very far" for / Cheras / Ampang / Kajang people.

Now i think u can even get school bus for Semenyih all the way till Kuen Cheng (40km+ journey).

How to force? Isn't UEC senior 3 and SPM senior 2? If you leave school at senior 2, what can they do?

Spm can take at any age

hope this tragedy is a wake up call to those parents who projecting their failures onto their child by forcing them to only focus on academic in an unhealthy way

Nowadays we just send our kids to nearby schools. Even got cainis school nearby.

but many parents die die want to buy property near Kuen Cheng, then send their kids there. Unless u live in Taman Persiaran Desa behind Mid Valley, no matter how near, you gonna still have to wake up 5am.

2 exams per year, normally held in June and October (50-70%)

Passing marks: Total average 60% and above
Junior 3 : JUEC
