Bullying pon banyak, jz never reported. Teachers also to be blamed. If students slow or bad in certain subjects, no tolong mcm cikgu dulu. Just brand as stupid, bodo then student pon kena bullied, one example.

i studied at both schools. turn out to be very well.

just because the school is the best in the whole country, doesn't mean people are prone to commit suicide.

kids studying in 80s-90s were like, 5am whats the issue ?
not to say which era is better, but it's a process that u need to go thru anyway.
i remembered last time due to limited bus services my brother 's bus time actually 4.45am (not wake up)/my bus 5.15am, and he's having tuition after school, piano, sleeping, computer classe, taekwondo, and what expression he used ? "tired"

Those days not many school bus operator, and expect to stand throughout the journey from your house to the school lol. Big buses able to cilok in Taman Taman road, now don't think possible

Now so many school van/private operator, and driving from semenyih / PJ / seremban to KL like so easy now.

special or not, i was pointing out the fact that 5am wake up was a norm, but some making it like a super duper "stress" thing, c'mon, my neighborhood primary school also  require my relative to wake up at 5.15am and bus come by 6am NOW.

30-40 years ago totally diff, have to tumpang who ever ppassing by that area, i.e.  Nan Kai / Chung hwa Jalan Ipoh was considered "very far" for / Cheras / Ampang / Kajang people.

Now i think u can even get school bus for Semenyih all the way till Kuen Cheng (40km+ journey).

UEC is a must , student encourage to take spm also , so they easy to enter university and look for job future, but spm only take core subject

If total mark below 56 or 55 or 50 (i dunno which is for kuen cheng, my time is 56 at another school), then u need to retain form..

people do quit after form 5..and study private college.

Not only that, their sciences and math are taught in both English and Mandarin. So you got to remember everything in both languages. So in actual it’s UEC+IGCSE+SPM
