Maybe cos Benji's Mother is half English Bull Dog and Pitbull is what makes him more docile since English Bull Dogs are not known to be aggresive.
But his Father is Pure Rednose Pitbull. I do not know who took his 2 other siblings so I could not compare notes with them.

My training methods with him is actually very soft. I have always been fascinated by Pit Bulls and did a lot of research before deciding to take Benji home.My main concern when I first brought Benji home was that he and my male mongrel will not get along as my male mongrel (Big size)is very dominant. My female is a small mongrel.I have 2 Males and a Female right now including Benji.I know that Benji has the strength to overpower me anytime he wants. He weights about 40kgs and has a very powerful jaw and I'm just a 5foot tall girl...But I trust that he respects me enough not to do that.

I take discipline seriously, don't get me wrong. When he was a puppy I enforce what is called by some trainers as a hierarchy. He is taught that he is the lower member of the pack. He MUST at all times respect all humans who live in this house with him. Humans are his pack leader. Next, he MUST respect the 2 older dogs. So they get their food, snacks and toys always before him.I do not tolerate any aggression towards the pack. I also do not tolerate stealing other dog's food and toys. A 'time out' will be the result of breaking the rules.
Of course a balance diet, exercise and love goes a long way.

I am NOT a dog trainer, nor am I claiming to be one. I learn what I know through books,CDs and advise on training. Also from miskates I made with my 2 other dogs. Just posting here to share experience of bringing up a Pitbull in a household which has 2 other dogs of different breeds.

Not only Muka kesian...Muka manja also. Sometimes he gets confused and thinks that he's a lapdog. Which is not good for me cos I will have a 40kg dog trying to sit on my lap. I would push him off cos I cannot breathe...then he will just settle for my leg rclxub.gif

Guys I'm looking for a apbt pup. Preferably a legit breeder as I'm looking for a medium energy buddy. Not low nor high energy. How much would these pups be?

If u need detailed specifications: a big boned pit, female, age around 5+/- months, colour preferably grey+white, medium energy(very important) ,medium temperament, I do also hope this is from a proper breeder as i want to have a look at the Dam and Sire too. Btw my lifestyle if you must know, the amount of walks I take the dog on a day is 2. Each walk around 15-30 minutes. Looking for a semi-guard dog because after the recent death of my apbt+sharpei mix I'm in desperate need of a buddy who can teman me and protect my house whn I'm away. She doesn't need to be like garang garang want to fight all the time . Just enough the display a little aggression . And make sure no creepy rats skitter in smile.gif . A high energy pit won't fit becuz I don't think my lifestyle will be healthy for
Her
