2. seller claims these are the 'square head' and 'big bones' types. what are these?

Wow moe, Tyson is one mean looking bully with the cutest smile.  drool.gif  Wonderful, can socialise with the babies.
Are the babies old enough to play already?

@mikehwy 1. what you gotta do is research research research. its not a breed you can easily get out of. pit bulls need lots of responsibilities, in fact every dog is. when choosing a pit bull, try to visit the breeder's place and get used to playing around with the pup. choose the pup who you think likes you the most.
2. rule of the thumb, get from a breeder u trust. what is he breeding for? how does he care for his dogs? does he socialise his dogs and pups? where are the pups taken care of? are they healthy? any healthy dog can be a great companion. well, what he says doesn't matter, you need to view the parents of the puppies to believe it.
3. there's no exception for colours, just go ahead with your preference.
4. price depends solely on your budget. if you think its reasonable then by all means go ahead.

I hope I helped.

Finally bought 2 4-weeks old putbulls.

one is 'tiger-looking' black and brown and another is brown.

now they are resting, after 1.5 hours of travelling. will feed them with little water and Everyday milk to revitalise them.

hope i can handle them well.

the breeder advised me to continue feeding them with Pro Plan Puppie Lamb biscuits, with Everyday milk powder to make them strong at the start. 4 meals a day. are these correct?

@mikehwy, CONGRATULATIONS on your new puppies. smile.gif
Tiger coat is called Brindle coat. They are very nice.

Yes, feed 'em 4 times a day until they are 3 months of age. Then reduce to 3 times a day until they are 6 months of age. Then, 2 times a day until around 1 year of age.

Sure you can handle them. Prepare for some whining tonight. Haha.

we all (including my maid) are palying and toying with them, till they fell asleep. hehe.

i am keeping them in a little enclosure (near my washing machine) measuring 3 x 3 feet. airy, spacious, with newspapers and clothes on the floor. i guess it is cosy enough. oh, they are now insdie the house.

ah, it is fun.

thank pal.

HI freakfingers and moe,

yes, i bought the 2 pups after reading their bloodline (thailand champion bloodline. but i think it is few generations ady?). it took me 1.5 hours to drive and find that place. there were 9 of them there, and 2 very very beautiful oneswere booked, so i had t take my choices asap, or else someone would have bought them. feel so bad after reading you people's view (shd not separate pups till 9 weeks of age).

but the breeder kept on calling me for the 1st 2 days for giving them glucose etc etc. so far, the pupsare very strong and i feedthem 'everyday milk' and Pro Plan chicken biscuits.

of course we all play with them. the next thing is the >> weight thingy.

let me study the 'springpole' and 'crate' stuff.

moe,

1. wow wow, your pitbull really can tarik all those weights? cant believe it at all, serious!!!

2. are those pitbulls? they look really strong!!! are they pitbulls??

but mine also look very study, as the breeder said they are the 'square head' and 'bog bones' type.

will post pics of my beauties after work.

thanks oe ad freakfingers.

lots of breeder did that, cause when the pup is young, they dont have a strong teeth to bite the,. therefore, they soke it with milk..
but ur pup 5 weeks old, should be ok to eat without soaking it..
but put a lil water on it so it would be too dry..

gidlcin,

thanks for your advice. will take note.

cheers.

freakfingers,

thanks. i did get your pm and i did reply you immediately asking for further advices, esp on the diet and food types for the pups.

yes, we have people playing with them regularly. we feed them 4 times a day, with pro plan puppy biscuits soaked with slight "everyday milk' for puppy.

i will show pics of the place to rest and sleep. safe and ver secured. we try to stop the urge to play too often with them for too long a session because this could make them very tired. but they really bite and pull my trousers and sarong man!!! very strong while pulling....hahaha.

freakfingers, really appreciate for your 'advices' via pm. i will always bear in mind.

i am still seeking vet's opiinion on diets and exercises. she told me to deworm and do the vacination by the age of 2 months.

please advice for food when you have toher ideas.

Actually it's bad to feed them everyday milk. It lacks nutrients needed for them at this age. And might upset their stomach cause they can't digest properly. Get puppy milk supplement. Other than that, they should be fine. Maybe add some yogurt into the mix for some immunity. Yogurt is good but not too much. Take good care of them. No problem haha. It's why we have a thread for APBT.

Get High Protein Base Food.
Best milk for them is Goat's milk.
But make sure you give them the sterilized one.

thanks American Bully. I love your pups ! they are so cute and been running everywhere.

Yea they need adequate amount of exercise,
put them with their parents to toss them around, that's how they become strong in the future.
make sure you are there to supervise them. =)

haha, i am addicted to your pics and videos. so cute in running around !!!

thanks man.
